Stay away from this place. This is a scam. I started receiving bills for a membership I never signed up for. I asked to see a copy of my signed agreement and they made the mistake of actually sending it to me which is obviously a forgery and wrong address...I never lived there. I've asked them to fix this and stop emailing me bills... but to no avail. Scum like this don't deserve to be in business.

This is probably the best gym I have been apart of. Me and my Italian friend Carlone work out here constantly. Well, actually, it's more like only me working out hard. Carlone only does pansy beach body workouts like biceps and triceps. And of course hes trying to throw up a puny 135 on National Chest Day, AKA Monday. What a loser. Then he wonders why he is not making any gains. This gym has all the right tools to make solid gains. It's all about how you choose to workout. Use the tools everyone. Don't be like Carlone.

Disgusted. Used to be a member up until I moved to Houston 3 years ago. I came back to the area for a wedding, and came to workout for a day. I paid $10 for a daily pass. During my 1 hour stay, I was (1) told bythe elderly cashier lady that I was "throwing my credit card at her" [I simply handed it to her with my driver's licence since she asked for both], (2) wrongly accused by 2 older ladies of 'misplacing' the handle attachments to one of the machines and (3) harassed by a staff member for "dropping the weights too hard". I go to my gym here in Houston 6 days a week for the last 3 years and was never told I "drop the weights too hard". Not sure why I was picked on by this establishment. Too bad I was going to recommend my mother to come here but she is too scared because she is afraid she will be bothered and judged. That is a high possibility at this place.

Not a 24 hour gym.-closes at 6 pm on Saturday and Sunday and 10 pm on Friday's.If they were open til 7pm, it would allow people who work 9-5 to go after work, or those who work at 7 to go in before work with more time. Also those who are watching football to go after the game.Pro's-Drinking water is always cold-Showers heat up quickly. Four showers, can always find one empty.-Dumbbells go up to 100 lbs, although many gyms go higher, good for most things.-Have rowing machines and variety of cardio equipment. Will never seen all treadmills taken. Just don't use stair climber if you have big feet.-Movie room if you're into that. I prefer to be engaged and put effort and thought into what I'm training instead of going through the motions, but it's there.-Most of the staff is nice.-Haven't had a problem with paper towels being out of stock or not having spray bottles.Cons-Not open 24 hours. Don't trust members. Could use a key fob system at outside of door to keep track of signing in.-Have free 10 day trial slips hanging up in gym, and gave friend a hard time when they tried using it asking where they got it. Pressurized them trying to become a member.-Do not allow members to use certain equipment for trainers. Medicine balls, weight belts, dip belts, etc.-Chest dip machine is way too narrow and not adjustable.-Two squat racks, one Smith machine, four flat bench, one incline, one decline. Most of the time can work in and don't have a problem except peak hours around 4-5.-Cable pulldown island does not have proper counterbalance. When you pull adjustable weight peg from machine, the metal pulldown bar attached at top will come flying down at your head because it was held down by the peg that you have to remove to change weights. Be VERY careful. Damn near gave myself a concussion or brain bleed. Everything was spinning, lights flashed and turned dark in my head. Broke my waterbottle cap that went flying 10 ft, no exaggeration. DANGEROUS.-Only one clock in gym.-Free benches are lower than other gyms, but I've gotten used to. Just have to jerk weights from floor while sitting instead of squatting to bench from standing position.-Have only seen one trainer wipe down equipment, once. Not that anyone else does, but supposed to set an example. But trainers come and go. Got into it one time when I was told to move by trainer because I was in their way. Even though I was there before them and out of the way from everyone else.Prices are reasonable, have all the areas you need. Treadmill/cardio, free weights, two cable islands, pull-up bars, accessory machines, deadlift area. Okay gym, but have been to better.

Word of advice PLEASE thoroughly read there contracts before you sign up its a Scam. The Gym has a great setup and atmosphere, but TERRIBLE customer service. It is almost impossible to get out of contract at this gym. I signed up for personal training membership and the person that signed me up (Deandre) did not verbally explain the contract, and I was left confused with certain charges with the first month of my trainings. I did not mind paying, but I felt tricked and he was just trying to sell me on signing up for the training me verses throughly explaining the contract fees. After my 6 months training sessions was up I still was being charged over 100 dollars on my account, I called and asked why was o charged and demanded a refund. They told be I had to cancel my sessions once it ended. So I was stuck paying for a service that I didn't even use and was also told that I had to pay for the following month. I spoke to a manager he told me that he cancel the charge for the following month, but I was still charged and had to go through my bank for them not to continue to charge me.

The gym is not well kept. The air conditioner sometimes doesn't work and it gets steamy(stinky). The owner/manager is rude. I have been double charged for some payments. There is a lot of hidden fees in their contracts, so don't just look at the monthly payment.Don't recommend this gym.

Been a member of this gym for over 2 years never had an issue with the gym until I signed up for personal training sessions. It's hidden fees in the contract and even after my sessions ended I was still being charged and had to go through my bank to cancel. The gym is all about money. The contracts are only for one side (THEM), the consumer has no recourse to get satisfaction. It is about the money, not the consumer.

Awful, awful, awful gym. The price may be the lowest but their contract is absolute garbage, read the fine print. Their customer service is the worst I have ever seen. Body shaming, undisclosed fees and awful customer service comes with your membership to Fitworks. Enjoy and rethink what you want out of your gym. Pay the extra $5 a month to get into a better gym, this gym is not worth anyone's money.

This club has so much equipment that regardless of the time of day, I can get in here, get my workout in and get out in a timely fashion. The cardio cinema is great to lose yourself in a movie and get in a great workout. Because there's a huge free weight room and multiple circuits of machines I can change up my workouts regularly. In fact, I liked the club so much that when an opportunity to work there opened up I jumped on it.

I have been a member of the Fitworks organization for twelve years. I love it. There is a very relaxed atmosphere with helpful employees and a ton of variety. The group fitness program offers something for everyone. There is a vast number of machines for both cardio and strength training and it is all well-maintained. It is an all ages, races, genders and fitness levels club. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to improve their lifestyle.
