I have been an orangetheory member at this location for over a year. About six months into my membership, another location closer to my house opened and I began to use that location. I have enjoyed the classes and convenience of being able to use multiple locations. However, I am currently almost 7 months pregnant and am trying to cancel my membership. My experience trying to cancel has been horrible and has made me decide to never join again after my pregnancy. I was told I need to cancel in person at my home studio, which is annoying, but understandable. However, when I called this studio and requested that the cancellation form be emailed so that I can fill it out and drop it off, I was told that they are not allowed to email the form. I told them that I’m aware that this form was emailed to my co-worker and and they still refused to email the form. Now, I have to travel out of my way and pay to park to go in and fill out a form that could have easily been sent to me. Orangetheory seems to have no problem collecting expensive fees each month, but makes it extremely difficult to cancel your membership. I hoped to return after my pregnancy. However, this experience and the way I have been treated when trying to cancel has made me decide to never sign-up again.

We had the worst experience with the staff there. We wanted to try it out for the first time and got there 20 instead of 30 minutes before the class, and they would not allow us to participate. We even suggested they can cut our workout time by 10 min and they still would not allow it. They did not even note to us that being late by a minute is a dealbreaker beforehand. Very unprofessional and not understanding. Bad marketing and communication. They just lost 2 customers. If I could rank them 0, I would.

We got kicked out for being there 20 mins BEFORE our first class Instead of the RECOMMENDED 30 mins. The staff was not courteous at all. It’s a workout not rocket science, you are in the service industry you need to know how to treat your potential customers. We are never stepping foot in that establishment again.

OTF really is the best one hour workouts in Cleveland! The trainers and staff at OTF are always energetic too! The workouts push you out of your comfort zone and after a few sessions I started not only seeing results, but I noticed how much stronger I was becoming.

5 variations of burpees for 90s x 2 and then treadmill spring 90s X2... .was not enough variety in the class to keep me motivated. I do like the heart rate monitor aspect of OT, but the class itself just did not meet expectations. I am used to variation on the treadmill, by changes in speeds/incline for each interval or different movements on the floor for each set. This just seemed like the same repetitive movement over and over. Overall, disappointed.

I've been a member of this studio for over a year and a half and throughout this time, I have seen this place reach the peak of success and quickly diminish. In the beginning, they had a strong team of coaches and workers and the classes were always waitlisted. Now however, it seems that downtown cannot keep a stable crew of employees. Both coaches and other employees have claimed that there is too much drama from management.Another poor aspect of this studio is their cancellation policy. My home studio is Rocky River and I now attend classes at the Uptown location. I find that these two studios will work with you to update or cancel your membership and consider your circumstances. The downtown location really lacks in this regard.I love the workouts that Orangetheory offers, I just think this particular location has a lot to improve on.

This place could be a really good fit for the right person looking for a solid 1 hour workout and wanting external motivation. You could get a very similar workout at any gym however and their free weights don't get very heavy, great for cardio workouts. Staff was extremely friendly and personal trainer seemed helpful. I'm not 100% clear on pricing but unless you really lack the motivation, I wouldn't pay much more for this than I would a standard gym. Also make sure to research pricing options of personal trainers in your area and compare! Final thing, I know this is picky, but music is a big part of my life and the music drove me insane. A bunch of my favorite classics and childhood memories turned into dance beats made me cringe.

Great workout amid tight quarters in the downtown Cleveland Orangetheory location. I was welcomed with a smile by name on my first arrival as I normally work out back home in Indy. If you’re traveling for business or need a pick me up before heading out to the bars, stop on in!

I had my 1st workout a Orangetheory Downtown Cleveland last week. It was a 1st class experience from the time I scheduled my workout until I received an email summary from Coach Angie. The staff and the studio are very welcoming. I hadn't done a HIIT workout in awhile so I was a little intimidated. Coach Angie accommodate any equipment or style modifications I needed due to old injuries and kept me at a perfect workout pace without making it feel extreme! We quickly moved between the treadmills (bike for me); water rowers; and the weight floor. It was organized which made it easy not to be overwhelmed by a new program. 44 Splat Points! Yay me!After my workout, I received a workout summary email, which had been clearly explained to me at the studio. I love using tech to make workouts more productive and effective...and fun:) And I appreciate that as a member, you can use ANY location. Can't recommend this team and this studio enough
