British Swim School of Clifton Sport & Fitness

The instructors here are nice. Facility is okay. The program is not designed to get your child swimming in a reasonable time period. If your child has been in the water a number of times and just needs help learning to swim, this program is a big waste of money. They move the children along very slowly and want you to pay them for months and months of lessons. Each lesson is short and your child will get very few repetitions. I don't recommend spending your money on swim lessons here.

My daughter is 15 months old and is learning to swim at the British swim school, Jayda her instructor was a thorough professional and kept her entertained while coaching her. Love the format that they have set up for the toddlers. Absolutely recommend British Swim School if you are looking for a fun swim learn and play session.

My two children have been going to British Swim School in Clifton for over a year and a half now and have thoroughly enjoyed their time and have advanced nicely in their swimming abilities. In contrast, I've taken my older child to other swim schools and have not seen the level of progression like I've seen here. The instructors are extremely kind and dedicated to teaching these kids. Orlando, who manages this location, is amazing and has been pivotal in helping my older child move up. They also have wonderful instructors here particularly Alivia, Destiny, Tyler and Melissa - all these instructors have been able to strike that fine balance in pushing the kids out of their comfort zone when they need it but also being compassionate. You can tell that they really care and want to see the kids succeed. Lastly, we've been attending during covid and I'm happy to say that they've tried to make things as safe as possible for employees and customers. I highly recommend British Swim School to all my friends and will continue to do so!

A mother of three kids, I have tried other swimming schools by far this is the best one in the area. For kids and adults.Ms. Jada & Mr. Angelo are excellent instructors. My kids have move up levels and are way more comfortable because of the skills they have learned. They entire staff is kind and they are always so helpful. Good location and great staff!!

This review is specifically for the Clifton location.I have both my daughters enrolled for almost a year and have seen so much progress. All the instructors are really good. Angelo is so enthusiastic and patient with the kids. Ty is also very good and I love his energy. Andrea I. Is also a very good instructor and seems very passionate about her job. Yvette is always so helpful and always answers all my questions with a smile. I’ve made many mom friends here too. My kids are happy. Place is clean. Def recommend !

Love this place, everyone is very kind and welcoming. My 2y. old toddler loves going to swim, she feels safe in water thanks to this team. It’s so exciting to see her progress week by week.

Loved the place until they changed owner. Not only they increased the price and they made confusing changes to the billing. For a group class for 30 mins with a few kids,you can’t learn very much for almost 40 dollars a class.

Great place! Have had fantastic experiences. We came here pre covid with our 4 month old son. He is 14 months at the time of me posting this. My husband and I love the teaching style. Roman the owner is such a pleasure. He is so nice and considerate. Our favorite instructor is Destiny. She's fantastic and loves babies. Definitely would recommend. Now with covid they make the swim instructors wear masks and face sheilds and are wiping everything down. The school rents out the facility but the locker rooms are clean. There is never anything lying around either, it's well kept.

My 2 kids have been taking classes for 5 weeks now and they love it. Instructors are great! They wear face shields while teaching and the chairs for parents are wiped down after each use. I would definitely recommend!!

Very impressed with my infant daughters swim lessons. I enrolled her last month expecting it to be more of a “mommy and me” activity we could enjoy since summer is over. The owner & our instructor are both extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and truly go out of their way for their students & parents. Top notch service and actually amazing instruction. The classes are great fun for the babies and they learn so much. I’m extremely impressed that my now 9 month old daughter has actually learned to hold her breath when she anticipates she may be submerged under water and doesn’t feel disoriented when turned all sorts of ways in the water (to simulate a fall into water where first the child holds their breath and then reorients themselves to float face up, hold onto land or float or pool sidewall and pull themself up out of the water. We are talking about infants here so I find this truly remarkable. My kid is almost walking already so I’m sure her strength helps. OF COURSE this should NEVER give false confidence but it is still really cool and IMO a necessary precursor to learning more. My husband came tonight to watch and was impressed as well.
