As one of the founding cyclebar members I can’t say enough good things about the bar. The staff members are friendly and helpful. The owners John & Natalie are present, accountable, and friendly. Sure there were some issues in the beginning but what new business doesn’t have growing pains. John and Natalie have addressed issues and work diligently to bring a fun and enjoyable group exercise to CoMo.

Used to be 5 stars. Heard a few things about how the place is ran and employees are treated. So I switched up

Heard good things about this place but recently have heard they have done one of their most loyal employees wrong by firing them after they’ve devoted so much time and effort to them. So with that being said this place is awful and should really rethink their management.

I joined Cyclebar after falling in love with spin classes through the MizzouRec. I was hesitant to purchase a monthly membership, but after being a member for 7 months, it has been worth every penny. The other reviews on the broken bikes are correct, but for the past 3 months, I have not experienced any issues. And if you do have a broken bike, the staff accommodates you by switching your bike if others are available. The instructors are truly what makes this studio special. In every class I felt challenged (despite going 3-4 times per week), and after establishing relationships with some of the girls, I felt that I was being held accountable for my fitness goals which I appreciated.Every instructor offers something different which allows you to tailor your ride selections to whatever personality you want. Grace has killer Taylor Swift classes. Maddie always has some words of wisdom and a country song. Sam LOVES to go fast. Jaelyn's music and personality cannot be beat. Elena's passion shines through every class she teaches. Kenzie knows how to make sure you don't cheat yourself during the intervals. And that's just to name a few.I will definitely miss this studio since I'm moving. And to anyone who hasn't tried it, give it a shot. Everyone is super kind and just wants to help you move!

My wife and I have lived in Columbia for a while and were looking for new places to workout. CycleBar Columbia opened just down the road from us and we decided to give it a try.The classes and instructors are great! The class is fun and the music is usually pretty good! I love the app and how you can see your place in class and how well you did. The instructors are always upbeat and give us a good time. However, after our membership is up, we will not be returning. First of all, half of the bikes do NOT work. You get on a bike and it either makes loud noises or the screen shuts off. They report they are new bikes and they have been working for weeks to get them fixed but nothing has improved. If I am paying hundreds of dollars to sit on a bike and pedal, the bikes should work.Secondly, we signed up because of all the opening promotions they had. Little did we know that, after we heard about a monthly unlimited promotion from one of their instructors, we would be charged for the promotion AND an additional one-month afterwards since they have a 30-day cancellation policy (which was never communicated and frankly is set to gouge people of their money). If I didn't want an extra month, I would have to literally cancel right after I signed up. Multiply a monthly membership times 2 (my wife and I) and you are paying over 300 dollars for a cycling membership where the bikes don't work, the music pauses during class, the staff is unknowledgeable about the equipment, and nobody knows their own stipulations. As working professionals just starting their careers, we had to factor in additional hundreds of dollars into our budget for cycling and there was nothing we (or they) could do about it even after multiple calls.Thirdly, if you cancel your class, you get charged. They say you need to cancel outside of your 12-hour window before class...STILL got charged. The management just continuously apologizes and says things will get better...but they don't. Love cycling, don't ever recommend cycle bar Columbia. It really is a shame. We loved it at first and loved cycling but the veil was lifted and I will probably never go to another cycling class again. If you ever sign up for their membership or promotions, READ THE FINE PRINT AND BE PREPARED TO PAY MORE THAN YOU ANTICIPATED.
