Based off meeting with Jason (the GM) I cannot wait to join this gymHe spent well over an hour with me and normally I would like to be in and out of the gym when I am just doing a walk around to see if I like it, but he was amazing. Extremely knowledgeable and whether or not, he was trying to sell me to join the gym, who knows, but regardless, he loves what he does and he was very interested to hear what I had to say and I could tell his heart was in it. This gym is definitely different than planet Fitness, or any other gem I’ve ever been a part of.

Hi, I would first like to say that the Adariel and Petra are very friendly, responsive, friendly and competent! Great ladies.Also the gentlemen that teach Zumba… they are amazing!!!! If it wasn’t for these people I may not go …..That being said, my complaints are that the front desk team know nothing about pricing, and they have told me many misleading things about pricing, classes, add-ons, etc. I was quoted less and I am being charged more. Not cool.I have come to find out that the front desk actually is not allowed to give any prices but unfortunately several of them do, and I’ve been told cheaper, (I signed up for something given their price and I am being charged more by their computer system)Also, a lot of the machines do not work.Several cardio machines upstairs do not work, and several weight machines do not work (downstairs) —— They could fix those.I went to use the suntanning bed (which is what I was told incorrect pricing on) and the front desk did not know how to start it properly, and I paged them for help and I could hear them laughing at me… and then saying “omg she didn’t know how to use it”. This was rude, and unprofessional given that they didn’t know how to turn it on either ….(This was in the evening)I’ve had to take my picture 3 times and fill out paperwork twice because the computer keepd crashing. (Which seems to be a normal thing btw)They really could use some help!!!!On the positive side as stated, the staff stated above are friendly and helpful.I wish I was being charged as quoted however

Jonni, at the front desk, is absolutely horrible. Something is gravely wrong with her. She willfully and deliberately kept my credit card that I used for a day pass and when I noticed, she smirked, citing, " wouldn't that be horrible? Then you would have to apply for another credit card." I told her I would have sued her.I believe that she had attempted to keep my credit card to use for her own purpose. You should have seen her face fade. She is passive aggressive and I cannot understand why Muv fitness continues to maintain her employment.I frequent this gym every time I am in South Carolina and have never encountered such a nasty individual such as Jonni.Happy Monday. 🌹

Tyler is the most helpful person here. I stopped by with an account problem and he went above and beyond to help me with a positive attitude. Thanks so much!Edit: I went by again today (11/7) to get an update on the issue and Jari was extremely helpful. I'm super happy with my experience here. Every issue I was having has been addressed with kindness and great customer service.

By all means this is a great review so bare with how it starts off. Jason which is the guy over this location approached me about my tripod. He stated it’s their policy to not have them here. His presentation and approach was super professional. Some people in power can be nasty and make the situation worse. After his approach I put the tripod up and continued my workout. I approached him to thank him for approaching me the way he did. Good service will keep your customers satisfied and I thank you for that.

Nice gym but have experienced some frustrations attempting to join. I tried the place out last night. I had to pay $24 for my son and I to try it once. Don't bother trying to sign up for their 14 day free trial on the website, it's useless. You'll never hear from anyone or receive an email confirming your free trial. Just go in and visit in person. Their website could really use some attention in regards to the webforms. If you try to call you'll get "Muv Fitness, please hold every time."

Me and my family were staying at the hotel they contract with to use the pool when I was told my 9 year old couldn’t swim because he wasn’t 12 or over !! So I said sir based on your sign it says he can’t workout !! His like no he can’t come pass this desk, and I will contact my general manager who will also say this !! And of course he backed him up!! I’m so disappointed and I hope they cancel their contract because swimming and work out on equipment are two different things !! Not kid friendly and I felt was discrimination because a family at the hotel whom kids was my child age had already been there (different race than my family ) !! So I advised my son once I spoke with corporate he will be in that pool !! Cause this is not fair and advertising is not saying they can’t get in the pool !!

Great gym, has everything you need and more. Staff is friendly and Jason the manager takes care of new clients to the gym. Recommend checking out before other gyms. Worth a couple extra dollars over the cheap gyms if you enjoy fitness. Weights classes and pool

The gym is decent but it’s a contractual membership. I tried to get out of my membership due to relocation to a place without a MUV fitness. I was unable to do so despite showing paperwork proving my new residence. I’ve heard of others having difficulty leaving the gym even after their full year ended. The gym is nice but you may have difficulty when you try to leave it.
