MUV Fitness Killian

I was at muv doing my workout excited to go into the movie room and watch the movie of the day “The Greatest Showman”. as I finished my workout I noticed that a movie that was not the one that was supposed to be played today “the Run away Bride” was playing. Ever since The Greatest Showman came out it has been my favorite movie. So as you can tell I am very upset about how a different movie is playing currently as the schedule clearly states that the “Run Away Bride” is suppose to play on a Saturday the 19th and “The Greatest Showman” is the 20th. When I wrote this review it was the 20th a Sunday, the promised day for the showing of my favorite movies “The Greatest Showman”. When asked why “The Greatest Showman” was not playing the worker simply kept saying the word “Baka” which I thought was extremely disrespectful.

When I signed up my biggest concern was the cancellation policy. I’ve been stuck in a gym contract before and because of the way life happens I wanted to know the policy before signing up. I was told it was only a $30 cancellation fee. I ended up moving shortly after and I have been there once in the last 6 months because it’s too far. They had me fill out the relocation cancellation and was told 15 miles from any facility then I got a call right after I left and was told it was 50 Miles. I said that’s fine I will just cancel. I was told that I had to keep paying and that there was no 30 dollar cancellation fee. I was lied to when I signed up and I would have never signed a contract if I knew that. They say whatever you want to hear just to get you to sign up. I specifically asked about that one thing and I was lied to.

Plenty of weight lifting equipment to choose from. The locker rooms have showers available. The indoor track, pool, and steam room is a game changer.

Start checking to ensure all equipment is operating and functioning correctly. Make sure there are sanitizing wipes in each station area. The equiptment is outdated for shore but I am considering going back havent been in a while but I will search the area for better gyms. It does get crowded in here. The forest drive gym is way better but too far for me to drive every monring.

They will neglect to inform you certain policies they uphold before you sign your contract, lie to you even. The stuttering fool of a staff member mistakenly admitted that to me as i asked to freeze (not cancel) my membership. I revived an injury which made me incapable of going for the next several weeks. I didn’t ask for the membership to be cancelled, only to be put on hold while i recover. It was not disclosed to me during the signing of my contract i would be charged a fee simply to put the membership on hold and during the conversation i had with the staff member, they told me that even though i am currently incapacitated i will continue to be billed. I asked every possible question i could during the signing of my contract and under the guise of deception i was lied to. Would i have known of their deceptive business practices, i would have went with a different gym.

Of all the Muv’s in the area this location has the best equipment. But the the majority of personal trainers are unsatisfactory, employees are very unprofessional, and treat the establishment like a social club. There Operating procedures usually change depending on who you’re speaking with. I would recommend Forest acres or sandhills MUV.

If you’re looking for a great gym look no further. The MUV fitness on Killian Rd is awesome. The staff are professional, courteous, welcoming, and available. This is also one of the cleanest gyms I have visited and has the amenities I love such as the sauna and hot tub. This place is more than a gym, it’s like family.

Since I’m standing here waiting I may as well write a review. The ladies that work in this daycare are AMAZING. My kids beg to go to the gym, just so they can hangout with the staff. They’re constantly interacting with the kids, so much so, my kids are currently refusing to go home🤣 Thank you, MUV fitness! …

Wonderfully organised and clean location. All of the exercise M/C you can handle. No showboating or grunting. Just people working out.

Equipment is dated as not well maintained. It was relatively empty, which I really liked. The cycle classes are decent. Overall customer service at all the MUVs is nonexistent. The women’s locker rooms are in need of a makeover. Needless to say I won’t be renewing my contract. I posted a pic of the updated hrs. Which google search also has correct. I would call before going, because they seem to change their hours frequently.
