Wow- just cancelled my membership with is location. My hours are from 0500- 0545hrs Mon- Fri and maybe 0700hrs on Saturday, during these times the staff is not professional at all. Sleeping on duty and the equipment has not been picked up and don’t have any answers to simple questions. This gym has gone down hill. I have been a members since Feb 2017 and I must say, big changes are needed!

This gym is NOT military friendly. They will only let you use their gym if you have an “in-state” ID card. If you are visiting or TDY this gym is not for you .

Very disgusting hot tub and steam sauna areas ! The equipment for bench press does not have safety bumper pads ! I only keep this gym hot tub but that’s never clean sand and black particles in water !

Gym is nasty, bathrooms and gym floors aren’t vacuumed, swept or mopped. Trash is usually on floor in bathrooms, urine smell is always present. Equipment is old, bands, mats, and foam rollers are nonexistent. Medicine balls and slam balls are all deflated. Dan, (manager) is RUDE, money hungry and could care less about the members. Most of the trainers are not approachable/ or available to assist unless you have a “paid” session with them.

Dan one time saved me and my family from a burning fire, but as soon as we reached saftey he gently whispered “would u like to sign up for a MUV fitness membership?” I said no cause the severity of the situation. So in anger he put us back in the burning fire, where my family Sadly perished.

This place has gone down hill. Management does not care about the facility. Equipment stays broken. Benches need to be replaced and you can't tell me they do not bring in good money. It's shameful! The other gyms MUV fitness gyms do not look like this! I give it a 3 only because it is pretty clean!

I joined this gym two weeks and ignored all the red flags from day one. They didn't allow me to even hardly start my free 30 day trial when I came along with a relative. The general manager Dan did not fully disclose the entire amount for the trainer. I received an email with an agreement I never saw that showed a totally different amount.I only saw the line to sign the agreement after we talked about the amount last week. I immediately called them and wanted to cancel. Well day 3 and no return call. He finally calls me back after I begged front desk to tell him to contact me. This was not the same happy go Dan that called me to come sign up for the gym membership and trainer. Now I have to pay the $250 buyout for the trainer. When asked if I could contact someone else over him?he told me No, there's no one else. I can't wait for my membership to be over with already. It's not the gym, it's management. Spreading the news to all family and friends

This is the worst gym ever to exist. Lots of reviews here state how unprofessional and dismissive the management is. Not only that but they also provide inaccurate and false information to rip you off. When I tried I cancel my membership, the so called manager Dan misinformed me about their policies and that I will be charged after the cancellation date. Now I am being harassed by a collection agency about unpaid membership that was cancelled. We had to live due to my husband being in the military and they don’t have any understanding or willingness to help those who defend their freedom. Such a shame to build business on mistrust and disrespect.Do not ever ever sign up for the Muv fitness center in Sandhills, Columbia. I wish I could give a zero star. Worst experience ever and worst management including Dan and Amy or whatever their names are.

Worst manger ever! Rude and disrespectful and undermined the customer. I came to get a tour and get prices Dan was very pushy on me becoming a member and when I said I wanted to talk to my wife about it he got mad and threw his pen on today and question if my wife supports me I said I will come back with a answer. Now I have a charge after I did not sign the dotted line, nor swipe my card or agreed to anything so he went out of the way and signed my paper work and made me a member when I did not want to be. The staff I talk to about was very helpful and respectful but Dan him self is not. If your military and looking for a gym just go to fort Jackson better management and free.
