If a person wants to cancel a gym membership, they should be able to cancel a gym membership. Not get the run around. We call planet fitness and they say "we can only cancel your membership in person." So we go in person and we are told "you have to cancel the membership at your home gym in person." Uh...we moved here. Our home gym is over 3 hours away. "Well, if you take a trip out there, you can cancel it." Yes because I want to drive 3 hours just to cancel a gym membership. And what if I had moved across the country. Are you really expecting your customers to travel hours and hours just to cancel a gym membership?

Nice staff, clean equipment, and overall quality place. With covid it changes how people respond to surfaces, but I overall think the staff and members would wipe down the equipment just as much as they are currently if everything was normal. For someone just trying to stay healthy this is the place to be.

I come here a few times a week with my partner and each experience is just as good as the last. This club is clean and well maintained. It's a good size, offering many different kinds of work out equipment to provide a full workout for your desired goals.The staff is friendly and very helpful even in these unpredictable times. My only wish is that this club were 24/7, but I'm also happy just having a larger club nearby!The equipment is new and offers a QR code on the side to help you navigate using it if it's your first time! There's a 30-min circuit for primarily arms in the back, and clean locker rooms.I would definitely recommend this club but suggest arriving early to beat the crowds as social distancing is mantained.😷

The facility is very clean, safe and the staff is courteous and helpful. The restroom and locker rooms are above average . The location and parking are great. I just have not found the piece of equipment that's best for me yet. I used the upright stationsry bicycles and found the only adjusting part is the seat. I am use to a spin bike that has a bit more options. The row machine has limited motion as well. I'll definitely try again, it's different.

I love the facility and it is always very clean. The staff however are not great at all. Everytime I go in they are talking with each other and when I ask for help they seem annoyed and uninterested. I actually held the door open for a staff member as I walked out and was given a quiet "thank you" with an annoyed face and eye roll. Also, the paper towel is normally out and is never refilled while there are 3 staff members standing at the front chatting and laughing. Not professional. I have been going to this gym for 3 years and finally had to express these repeated concerns. For a business that depends on customer satisfaction, the staff are not representative of that.

The employees are laid back, have always been nice to me, and never made me feel judged based on my weight. However, I have major issues with Planet Fitness both as a company and with this location in particular.It's pretty negligent of the company to not have a mask mandate or limits on capacity, especially in Columbia, considering gyms are vectors for spreading disease, even when there wasn't a pandemic, but I digress.To address the limited capacity aspect of this review: This is a very busy location and getting the time to use the equipment you want to is extremely difficult; the weights area is constantly packed. I like personal space, but there is no such thing over in that area of the gym.The membership here is only worth it if you utilize it regularly. Otherwise, it's another way for the company to passively make profits. They charge annual fees and other fees if you cancel depending on your membership, so be aware of that.

Everyone is always very friendly and the place seems to bell taken care of. When compared to the other gyms I have gone to in the past this one does seem more welcoming and it actually does feel like everyone belongs.

This Planet Fitness is amazing. They have good customer service and they do follow COVID guidelines. Their memberships are very reasonable in price.

Love the Nifong location, not as crowded as W. Broadway but this might be because it only just recently opened. The staff are very friendly and the gym and restrooms are always clean.

It's very close to my house and my job so it's very convenient for me. I love the equipment this location has, it's amazing. Everyone is very friendly and if you work, you can tell.
