Compared to Strom, its not as crowded and has a lot of gym space. Blatt has Multiple basketball courts, a nice weight room with varied equipment, and a good pool. However if your looking to do workouts with a punching bag or recover with a sauna, Strom is the place to go. Overall, its a nice facility.

My daughter has several swim.meets here every year. It's a very nice pool that belongs to the USC campus

Yesterday, I went to Blatt for the first time to take advantage of the free pool. It was pretty great! The lanes are wide so you have a wide berth, and the lifeguards were very kind and friendly. The water was clean and there was basically a perfect amount of chlorine (my eyes didn't burn at all). I'll be back every week for as long as they're open after 5!

Review written from the point of view of a USC student. Blatt is awesome due to its location, but the equipment and possibly even the building should be upgraded. I know that's unlikely given Strom's recent development but still. Definitely more run down and tired than Strom. Like it due to its location, but parking is also unlikely during peak hours.

Swim meet protocol for non-college teams: Parents are not allowed on deck. Bleacher seating, so bring a stadium seat. If you bring your own chair, there's a platform all the way up on top for you. Bring a personal fan and something to do, because you're going to be there for awhile. :)
