READ THE CONTRACT BEFORE SIGNING* I have been told to pay $1 and enjoy three free months but as I started I received a charge of 14.99 since Jan 2022. Later, when I asked they said 3 months are after the contract.* They didn’t explain me that it’s 18 months contract and asked me to sign the paper immediately after enrollment.* My due date is 28th Feb however there is a deduction of $25 on 22nd Feb 22 and they charged me the late fee too..I have screenshots..* After signing the paper which was not explained to me, now they are not assisting me in a right manner!!Money is not a problem but problem is that the staff would have communicated everything properly or at least gave me sometime period to read and sign the contract.Started from $1 and then I paid 25 (1st fortnight of Jan 22) then 25 (2nd fortnight of Jan 22) and will be paying the rest month fee and 99 for cancellation contract.Highly disappointed!!

My signup was absolutely amazing. Cathy made me feel like I'd known her forever and we were the best of friends. It was the best first gym experience ever

The five stars is based on just the customer service and cleanliness of the facility. On my first visit. I helped my daughter get signed up for a membership and the staff was very accommodating. They explained the details of the contract. Clearly. The facilities look very nice and there is a lot to choose from at this location.

Great gym for military!Gym and locker rooms were always cleans and neat. A great selection of equipment and enough benches and Dumbells to ensure you were never waiting long. The second floor area with the turf was great for auxiliary workouts and when you needed some space.Joined for the duration of my stay at Fort Benning. Cancelation was quick and easy when I came down on orders, staff were very helpful.

Worst experience ever. Trainer Esme only in it for the money not personal development. If I’m paying MY money for a trainer we should focus on the areas I want to improve on. Not do leg day every session. I’ve gotten multiple injuries due to trainer making me do things she has her other more advanced trainees doing. The director isn’t any better. Just wants money. I cancelled and still have been getting billed even though I stopped going back in November. Don’t sign up, they’ll act friendly in the beginning but like a previous review stated it’s just a money scheme

While we attended the gym, it was great. We enjoyed the personal trainers and culture of fitness. However, when we attempted to cancel our membership, it took months. This included us visiting the gym, at which we were told we must cancel through the phone or email. We attempted email and recieved little to no help. Almost 15 calls to the 'cancelations manager' on the phone yielded little results, they would not answer the phone, and wouldn't return calls. Canceling is way harder than it should be, and they make little effort to help you cancel. This would be a great gym if they didn't make every effort to stop you from leaving.

New in town, first ever interaction with the gym and or employee. Female Employee Was extremely rude upon requesting a day pass to try and feel the gym out and was completely shunned away. Non welcoming gym and filled with ridiculous contracts. All these one star reviews are for a reason and the business openly seems to not care about anything but your money. 0 stars.

I used to love this gym. When I first joined Max Fitness about a year ago, I didn't read any reviews and nor did I care, but the managers only care about one thing... MONEY... ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ARE REAL. I shared my opinion/experience on my social media account about a situation I encountered regarding the customer service I received and the inconsistency of their guest pass policy. I received a call the next day from managers Cathy & Fuller and they stated that my experience was defamation of character and offered immediately to cancel my membership because they do not want members to talk bad about the gym... First of all, as loyal and long term member of ANY business, I would expect for the managers to ask me what happened, show empathy, apologize and offer a solution for the problem before offering a cancellation, any good business owner/manager knows that that is a standard practice. Second, I explained to Jasmine, the front desk lady, that my guests moved in to the area and were excited to try the gym and she stated they had to pay $15 each, even after filling out their 7-day free pass on the Max Fitness Website. The problem is not the money, however, I brought in two guests twice in the past who were greeted personally by Cathy and they did not have to pay the fee, no IDs were checked, & they also ended up joining. During my phone call with Fuller and Cathy, they stated that guest who were from out of town had to pay that fee, but then again, my guests lived in town. Furthermore, several members contacted me and also confirmed they have brought in guests to try the facility at no charge. Third, not only did they cancel my membership, but also contacted other members who shared my concern on social media and offered them to cancel their membership. It breaks my heart to know that this gym has come to this. They did not care to solve this issue at all, neither did they apologize to me. All they care is MONEY. If you have a different opinion from theirs, they will try to silence you...
