24 Hour Fitness

Con: Members not putting back the equipment has become the default culture. Most members don't care to put things back where they belong. Especially during the night, its really annoying.Pro: 24hr Fitness in Compton has a variety of equipment, plenty of cardio machines. Great workout culture.

this place has alot of malfunctioning equipment, same machines never worked on. some don't incline or others don't decline. some have error codes, others are noisy as hell. but the bill is always on time and the membership is always growing. time to call corporate.

This 24 is by far the most disorganized in LA. Every time I walk in, the weights are on the floor. It's like the weight racks are just there in case you want to hang your towel or sit on while you superset all the dumbbells. I'm not sure if the staff even pick up the weights. I've come in at 2am after everything has died down and all you see is piles of weights on the floor. Management needs to have staff members that will either re-rack the weights or have them remind the members to re-rack the weights after they're done with them. I go here for the layout, it's okay,but why are the squat and power rack so close together? Maybe it's me but this 24 needs to get it together.

Staff is ok nice, never to friendly just normal. What really annoys me are the people not putting back the equipment. Restrooms and locker room smell really bad. I have lifetime member ship, and they tried to charge me extra also. Nope...just paid it by mail. Don't deal with ignorant staff send you payment by mail.

This gym is great. The staff are very helpful.

Good place to play basketball. Every night you can run 5 on 5 with cool people who can ball.

The manager Art has his own policy that I couldn't work out with my fiance which I have been doing for over a 2 years. That's consider training then he retracted and said I can instruct her but can't touch or correct her form. It's a racial/prejudice thing because everyone in the gym world has a work out partner that corrects your techniques or spots you when your tired. But it was just me and another black couple that was singled out.

its one of the Largest 24 hours I been to, but it not very sanitary. The Ladies locker room was not clean. The machines were not clean and the pool water was not clear it looked foggy...

Half of the equipment is always broken. Poor customer service. Always seems dirty.

Don't let prejudice guide you. It's a serviceable facitity. No more eqip issuse than any other sport club. Staff are not an issue.
