Had a great first workout out with the Orange Theory Fitness team in CC on Wednesday. I have been wanting to change up my exercise routine for a while and I have never given group exercise a try. A couple of friends have been going to OTF for a while and I decided to come along for a workout. The first one is free, and as you can imagine, that's how they hook you!I don't mean that in a bad way, either. I was asked to come into the class 30 minutes early to sign my waivers and to get a personal rundown of how the class operates with the Head Coach, LC. She was very professional and welcoming. One point I'd like to make about the coaching is how she spoke to the entire room, but also made it feel as though they are right next to you the whole time. Every time I looked back or had a question she was close by to assist with instruction. I had some technical problems with their heart rate monitor during the class and she was quick to assist me so I could keep tracking my stats during the workout. Even the front desk came out to help with the HRM. I am a data driven person in my professional life so I was annoyed that it was blipping in and out. However, it got sorted during the row portion of the session and my stats were tracking without issue. I was going to remove a star for that, but the team did everything they could to resolve the problem and it didn't really take away from my experience. If you're wanting to change up your workout routine and try an intense full-body workout, then I'd highly recommend Orange Theory. People of all ages and body types were working toward their goals. The intensity of the workout is up to you with different zones they want you to focus efforts in. I really liked the structure and I look forward to more sessions with the coaches and staff at Orange Theory Fitness - Corpus Christi!

I went to Corpus Christi to visit some friends over the Thanksgiving holiday. I was ready for many adult beverages and to stuff myself at the Friendsgiving feast. They told me we were going to workout at Organetheory Fitness in the midst of all of the libations and eating. It was my first OTF class and the first time I had worked out in a looooong time. I was a bit nervous walking into the class. That nervousness quickly went away. The atmosphere and people were inviting and put me at ease. You could feel the energy as the music started and Coach Lindsay began the class. There were various stations that we rotated through that were challenging, but you rotated on to a new station just before you got to the point where you are hating life. I really enjoyed the workout, the people and the atmosphere. If I ever move to Corpus Christi, I'd definitely become a regular there!

I’ve joined gyms over the years and I always hated them. The Orange Theory studio is amazing. I show up, and that is the hardest part. Each of the coaches has a unique way to motivate me through class and I love them all. I really did not have goals when I started, other than knowing I am supposed to work my body, but I have accomplished more than I would have imagined. Thank you OTF.

Love this gym so much. Where do I begin! First of all, this is the first OTF that I was actually able to find a community in. The coaches care about your progress as an athlete and help you focus on the things that move you toward your personal goals. Everyone has always been super welcoming which isn’t always the case elsewhere. Since going, I’ve leaned out and gotten faster in running. PR’d my 5k for the first time in years.

The coaches are amazing. I do have some limitations that don’t allow me to do all the movements for workouts and every coach at this location has offered alternative exercises tailored to my needs. Also, the fellow members! Everyone brings a different energy that is so uplifting and motivating. Whether you are lifting a 60lb dumbbell or at a 12 speed, I’ve found others members really do want to see people be successful and it creates such a fun and positive atmosphere I’m happy to be apart of!

They were kind and welcoming to me. I'm from SA so I was skeptical but they were cool and real chill 🤘 …

The staff and communication is awful. When I first came to class no one showed me around and explained anything to me. I got a membership for my birthday and was told the heart monitor was free to find out later it was charged. I brought my mom and she was interested in joining and the staff didn't spend any time going over the different memberships and charged her account. We were told there was a promotion for a 50% off when you sign up a friend to find out that the staff member mistakingly told us it was for the wrong dates. They don't honor anything. Trying to cancel is a nightmare. They don't let you cancel and make you sign a release form. Also, if you miss a class they charge you and require an 8 hour cancellation notice. Overall, just highly disappointed in the communication and customer service. The classes are great and coaches too, but there needs to be training on the front end. It's unfortunate when I had a few friends that wanted to join also, but now they won't because of the service. Just be sure what you're signing up for. It seems all they care about is money.

The coaches were authentic and engaging. Shout out to Eddie’s overall vibe! He made it so that I never wanted to quit a training session. The facility is clean and well organized. I stopped because of finances/distance. Come to south side!
