Hands down, the best coaching I’ve ever received for Olympic Lifting, Strength & Conditioning, and Mobility. Kyle, Meesh, and Natalie are masters of their sport and some of the most humble, selfless people you’ll ever meet. You won’t find a better community of lifters who support each other both in and out of the gym. All I can say is try it for yourself, you won’t be disappointed.

The HITW team is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in their field of strength and conditioning. The well-researched, organized, and sensible programming makes for very challenging but very productive training sessions. If you want function, go here. If you want power, go here. If you want strength, go here!

Olympic weightlifting is so much more than just a sport and HITW is so much more than just a gym. Kyle is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. He's always willing to answer questions, and truly cares about your progress.

HITW has great coaches and an awesome atmosphere. I was looking for an Olympic lifting gym and so glad I found HITW. In just two months of following their programming I saw a 12 kg bump in my snatch max. Great gym!

I know Kyle (owner) through when I played college football at Lindenwood University in St. Louis, MO. When I got there, he no longer played football, but instead was a member of the Olympic weightlifting team. When I had season ending shoulder surgery in 2013 I had reached out to Kyle for guidance on a workout plan for the off season to get me back to where I needed to be. Through his plan, I was able to bounce back faster than ever and become stronger and more flexible which helped me on the football field. Flash forward to present day. I now play for the Cincinnati Bengals in the NFL. I have been able to work with some of the best strength coaches in the US, and I will say Kyle is right up there with the best. I still seek guidance on off season workouts because what he has provided me has worked 100%. If you live in the Dallas area and are looking for someone to help transform your life, go check out Hunger in the Wild Strength and Conditioning.

THE gym you should be going to if you're a weightlifter in Dallas or are in town and need somewhere to drop-in to lift. They have all the equipment you could ever want, an absolutely kick ass atmosphere to lift in, and great hours. Kyle is an exceptional coach and weightlifter as well if you're looking for an experienced coach and fun, supportive team to train with! Easily one of the best weightlifting facilities I've trained in.

Kyle is truly amazing at his craft! Humble, fun, thoughtful in his programming and coaching. If I could give more than 5 stars I would and all of this coming from someone who has been coached in Olympic lifting before. His approach to coaching has reminded me why I love this sport and am grateful to have found him.

I listened to a Tim Ferris podcast on Olympic Weightlifting and got stoked to try it. I've got some injuries so had to find someone really good. Fortunately I found Kyle. He's the man. Super humble and loves what he does. I've been working with him for a couple months now. He's got me on a plan of learning proper form, increasing flexibility, and then building up strength. I love the thoughtfulness he brings to his approach. Pricing is also remarkably reasonable for the expert training.

Heard about Hunger in the Wild through a friend and finally decided to check it out because I had been wanting to learn Olympic lifting but didn't know where to start. This is definitely the place. Great no-frills gym atmosphere with plenty of lifting platforms and bumper weights. Kyle, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming and personally worked with me for over an hour. I can't say enough about his teaching style and expertise - very impressive. Great guy too. Also a great group of regulars and newcomers made it a great experience all around - I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend this gym especially if you are looking to learn or improve Olympic lifting while working with a great teacher. Go eat.
