I've been a member for about two months now, and I can say that joining CFB was one of the best decisions I've made for my health. Many people think of CrossFit as an intimidating fitness regimen filled with heavy lifts and complex movements -- it can be! But, with the help of supportive, knowledgeable coaches, and the encouragement of the most upbeat, friendly members of any gym I've been around, I've learned how perform exercises safely and scaled to ability. The experience has been nothing but positive -- I've learned more about myself and what I'm actually capable of achieving with a good dose of encouragement, and realized the only thing stopping me from achieving more in the past ... was me.Working out solo can get stale and mundane. If you want to push yourself, and do so safely with great coaching, check out CFB. When you sign-up with CFB, you're not just joining a gym, you're joining a community of people who genuinely want to see you--and each other--achieve new milestones.

I joined CT Roller Derby as a rookie this September and it was highly recommended to cross train which is how I found CrossFit Bethel. Despite seeing 2 gyms in the town I live in, it was the fact that CFB calls themselves the "friendly gym" that got me interested. It can be really intimidating to join a gym if you aren't a "fit" person or are uncomfortable using equipment and find yourself wasting money to run on a treadmill and do nothing else. Also, there aren't any contracts that you get locked into! My endurance during derby practice has gotten so much better and everyone has been extremely supportive. I highly recommend joining CFB, it's worth it!!!!! Did I mention there are dogs!?!?! Best. Gym. Ever.

CFB in all honesty has helped me become strong in so many more ways than just physical. These are a group of coaches who push you to believe in yourself. To build self esteem, confidence and self worth. They are the kindest most accepting people I have ever found myself around. This is the friendly gym and in the short time I have been there I have become so comfortable. Best place ever.

I’ve been working out with Crossfit Bethel since I was 12, this gym is a true second home for me. I’ve been able to boost my numbers from squatting only 135, to being able to hit 285 for my PR.The friendships you build is priceless and you won’t find it anywhere else. These people want to see you kill it every time you work out, they will never put you down for what you do as long as you’re true to who you are. Family is very key to this community and it shows day in and day out. Highly recommend coming in and put work in.

At 53 I was really looking to up the intensity level of my workouts and that’s exactly what I got when I joined CFB. On top of that I was also getting expert instruction on lifts that were entirely new to me as well as some that I’ve been doing for years. I also quickly became aware of how important flexibility is as a component of fitness and Coaches Don and Liam have really gone over and above to help me. That speaks volumes about the people and business overall!!I have been a member at other gyms but honestly felt like after I signed my contract the employees no longer had to work for my business. I don’t get that feeling at CFB. All of the coaches and members are extremely approachable and great people. I have made lifelong friends and am incredibly comfortable in the environment that Liam and his Team have created and nurtured.I highly recommend this gym and look forward to checking off many more fitness goals for years to come!!!

I feel stronger physically and mentally since I joined CrossFit Bethel. The coaches are all excellent and they attract a great group of people of all ages and levels. There’s never any judgment. I always feel safe and encouraged but never pushed beyond where I’m comfortable. The community, camaraderie and support that I’ve felt since I joined gives me the drive to keep coming.

Everything about CrossFit Bethel is absolutely amazing… the coaches, the members, the workouts and of course, the dogs!!! I was sooo nervous to step through the door the first time but I was welcomed with open arms and made to feel comfortable and competent. The coaches and members are all so encouraging and supportive - whether you are crazy strong and athletic, or modifying the exercises to fit your abilities, or just beginning your fitness journey, everyone is there to cheer you on and to celebrate your accomplishments. It’s truly called The Friendly Gym for a reason.

Finally found a place close to home, in and out in 30 minutes with a workout that incorporates both cardio and strength training. Bootcamp. Not to mention the fact that the instructors are FANTASTIC. What are you waiting for? Come join.

Crossfit Bethel is the BEST! Awesome coaches, supportive environment, and great workouts with lots of options to fit every fitness level. Walking in the first time is the hardest part, but it is very worth it. I highly recommend CFB to anyone!

I was nervous about getting injured when I joined CFB because of the bad reputation Cross Fit has, in general. CFB is different and has exceeded my expectations. I appreciate the time and effort the coaches put into the workouts and the technique for each move. They're very careful to guide everyone based on each person's ability. As if that isn't motivation enough, I've found the members to be just as welcoming and motivating. I love CFB and the people in it!
