Reading through the reviews I totally understand everyone's frustration with previous management. I've been a member for almost about a year and the first couple months were really rough. I felt like management was really unreceptive to any complaints; machines were very out of service and ignored. However, in the last couple months, they've gotten a new manager and the place has really changed for the better. There are new rules and requests about keeping the gym, clean and available for others to use; such as a requirement to re-rack weights. Every time I walk in, the manager is always listening to customer feedback and trying to improve the gym. I swear it seems like she knows every member and greets everyone with a friendly smile. She is buying new machines and keeping the place up-to-date. I can't wait to see how it keeps improving under her leadership. I know this place may have left a bad taste in your mouth before, but give it a second chance and you won't regret it.

Love workouts with Brian, my personal trainer! He is always upbeat, knowledgeable, reliable, and choreographs great workouts every time! He reads his clients well and adjusts workouts accordingly. The staff is friendly and professional. Shout out to Rita who always greets with a smile and wishes you a great workout!Facility is clean and upgrades are being made which is great to see - including new attachments, water cooler and other items!

I signed up for a trial pass a year ago. I have been called and texted by their staff every other day since. I have on SIX seperate occasions asked to be removed from their list. The last time was last month, and I am STILL being phoned. If you're thinking about getting a membership please read the other reviews here first. Y'all are not paying your employees enough to be this annoying.Update May 2023.I returned home from 4 months of travelling and turned on my phone to 27 voicemails from Club 24. Do better and stop harassing potential members. There's no way I'm ever getting a membership now!

I recently had a stroke while at the gym. They spotted it and took excellent care of me. Both my trainer Jeff and the manager were heroes. The gym itself is clean and well equiped. Nice to know it is a safe environment with caring staff too.

It’s a wonderful environment and the people are very friendly. I never really have to wait for a machine or free weights. Clean environment as well. Not to mention 24 hours.

They don’t even deserve 1 star. Dwayne is a horrible manager with no care for his customers. Club 24 is a joke. The worst management and support I’ve ever seen. Trying to cancel your membership with them is literally impossible. Don’t make the same mistake I did by joining this gym. You’re much better off at a Planet Fitness or Edge. When you sign up it states no contract, but when you cancel, you’re locked in for another month of fees. I’ve never dealt with worse customer service.

I wish I could put 0 stars. Dwayne is the worst manager I have ever been in contact with. The way Club 24 conducts business is a joke. The worst management and support I’ve ever seen. Trying to cancel your membership with them is almost impossible. They never stop charging your card. Please don’t make the same mistake I did by joining this gym. You’re much better off at a Planet Fitness or Edge. It’s funny how when you sign up it states no contract, but when you cancel, you’re locked in for another month of fees. THE WORST!!

Great service here. Jessica was very understanding and helpful. I suggest if you are going to a club 24 go to the one here in Newtown. I do NOT suggest Brookfield. They are scam artists over there and very unprofessional.

This is a decent gym that is close to home. The new transition to 24 hours is a great bonus, and you can't beat the price for a now 24/7 gym. The staff here are always super friendly and a pleasure to talk to. I just really wish they would have some yoga mats available to do abs/stretching. It's really an inconvenience having to bring my own. Even Planet Ftiness offers mats...come on now.

Pros: The staff are welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The facility offers a large number of well maintained treadmills, stationary bikes, both traditional and recumbent, elliptical machines, a rowing machine, and two stairclimbers. There seems to be an adequate number of dumbbells, barbells and free weights, as well as newly installed floor pads for those serious about lifting. There are numerous weight machines, medicine balls, and ropes. There is a sizable turf area to do core work, but you should bring your own floor mat. The place is clean, including the locker room (women’s) changing area, toilets, and shower stalls. There is an adequate supply of paper towels, hand soap, and toilet tissue, and a hand dryer and a blow dryer are available. There are plenty of towels and spray bottles to use to sanitize the equipment before and after use.CONS: The shower head in the handicapped shower stall does not function properly and the stall does not have a built in bench to enable someone to shower while seated. The lockers are too short to be practical, so my clothes end up sitting on top of my shoes, not good. The metal platforms for doing box jumps have seen better days and the material on several of the bench press tables is well-worn or torn off. lastly, the hours of operation during the holidays were NOT correctly listed on the website, nor was the staff informed of the error. When I called to confirm closing time, I was advised that the gym was going to close an hour later than it actually did, so I showed up and had turn around to drive back home. THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED.All-in-all, membership at Club 24 in Newtown is worth the money and I am pretty happy with the facility in general.
