World Champion Taekwondo New Fairfield

I've been doing Taekwondo for 12 years and I recently got my fourth dan degree black belt thanks to Master Kim and WCT New Fairfield. Master Kim creates a friendly environment for kids of all ages to learn and grow physically and emotionally. My parents even tried it out with me and reached their 2nd degree black belts.

I was searching for an activity that my son would enjoy and want to do. We had tried team sports and it just was not his thing. We gave Taekwondo a try and he instantly loved it. Master Kim is great with the kids and my son looks forward to going each week and progressing in his skills.

My daughter went to a classmate’s birthday party at World Champion Taekwondo and had a blast. She came back ecstatic that she broke a wood board and wanted to take lessons. We paid for a few months and were so happy that we committed for a year. Master Kim is great with all of the kids and we see how beneficial the training has been for our daughter’s athletic development, coordination, balance, flexibility and strength. We noticed it has helped her in her other sports too. We are very thankful this is in our great town of New Fairfield and very grateful for Master Kim.

Master Kim’s approach to teaching encourages confidence, produces champion athletes and creates long lasting friendships.His gentle demeanor creates a comfortable, safe and joyful learning experience. He knows when to be serious and when to loosen up a bit and have fun. He has a gift for teaching children and treats every one of them as family. He is also wonderful with adults and is able to recognize limitations to keep his classes safe.His personal talent as an athlete is incredible and inspiring to anyone who has had the pleasure to watch him. His experience and passion for Taekwondo is evident and he instills the benefits of martial arts in all of his students. He is a true humanitarian and an incredible teacher with rising Master’s who have trained with him for over 10 years. These rising Master’s assist Master Kim during classes and are a ton of fun to learn from as well.A true gem in the martial arts world.

Master Kim is truly a master. His taekwondo skills are unsurpassed, he is kind, gentle, but firm and rigorous. All the kids and parents love and respect him bc he is so remarkable.

Master Kim is wonderful. My son was diagnosed with ADHD and motor skill issues and this has been enormously helpful. Master Kim is able to set clear expectations while being patient and fun. The classes have been really positive and I highly recommend this school.

I’m so glad that we found this wonderful place! Master Kim is a true expert in teaching kids the fundamentals of Taekwondo while also providing such a fun atmosphere. I can’t recommend this enough. There also plenty of ways to just try it out to see if you like it. Worth just a half hour of your time to decide.

Master Kim is very good at working with kids! He’s very patient with them. My son looks forward going to class every week.

THE BEST of New Fairfield is right here, with MASTER KIMMy sons have trained with Master Kim since they were 2 and 3 years old. They are now 6 and 7. What Master Kim does for their sense of discipline and confidence is unmatched in any other afterschool activity. He is spectacular with adults and children, of all levels. I, without reservation, recommend Master Kim as he is a gift to our small town and my own family.
