This was my first experience with CrossFit and absolutely loved it. The instructors are all well trained and knowledgeable. Everyone, including the other members, are friendly and helpful making this a great place to start CrossFit.

Great Box! I had a conference in Des Moines and looked them up. Luke is a great coach and owner. I accidentally left my wedding ring at the gym and Luke actually drove it over so I didn’t have to leave the conference! Highly recommend!

The workout was good the facilities were decent but limited. Not one bench press or any dumb bells. Took an intro for beginners class. Crossfit is very expensive and I personally don't see the value. For example David Barton gym in downtown Chicago is 120 ish a month with 3 personal training sessions a month included. And it is extremely awesome with cutting edge music, posh atmosphere, literally the coolest steam room I've ever seen, every free weight station and machine ever invented, designer hair products, lotion, musk, all free in locker room, many styles of group fitness classes... etc you get the picture. For $150 a month The biggest thing crossfit pushed was Olympic lifts, the community of crossfit and that you will have a better life... that's literally what they said give me a break. Espically considering the fact that when I was trying to figure out an odd body movement some rhybosaurus yelled at me about how I was doing it wrong. Also I went way too hard at the beginning of the workout and got smoked halfway through. From there the crossfit vets from another class strait up gave me looks of contempt and acted all superior as I was totally lagging. Here is my cross fit lifehack for free. Work out 6 days a week, do paleo diet, push your self in every lift you do, make very quick transitions from one lift to another to keep it cardio, throw in power clings, hang clings, push press, squats and lunges, work on you biceps and lats with the lat pull down bar until you can do a proper pull up without using your bodies momentum (aka kips). And do group fitness classes at the Y (free with $40 membership) for the "community". Smile all the way to the pool/steam room while thinking about all the things you can do with the $110 you saved.
