i trained at another gym for year and a 1/2 . which i enjoyed every minute of . but i had attended a bjj summit at dmjj.and had some acquaintances there and friends that had been going so i tried it for a month and really got alot from this gym. needless to say i am a member now and found my spot here.the other gyms around are great but dmjj is really something if your looking for solid jiu-jitsu. its a top notch academy with great people and a friendly environment that makes you feel welcomed.

Visiting from out of town and had a great NoGi class. Nice big open gym, great mats, everyone was friendly. Will definitely be back if ever in Des Moines again!

I train across town at No Coast BJJ, but typically try to make it downtown once a week to get some different looks from the guys and gals at DMJJ. Friday's 11 am open mats are incredible. Stacked room filled with the best grapplers in central Iowa.

I'm visiting from Phoenix and walked in as a guest to the Jiu Jitsu no gi class. I immediately felt at home. The instructor was great and the students were there to work hard and have some fun. I will return the next time I'm in Des Moines.
