I wish I could give Power Life a 10/5 stars because they knock it out of the park! Amazing facilities, always clean and tidy. The teachers are kind and helpful, and they all make it a point to learn your name. The flows are always unique, and they have done so much for my fitness and mental health. I cannot say enough great things about this place!

Dropped in for a class while on a roadtrip, I initially paid for the 5 dollar drop in and even though my payment went through the class I signed up for wasn't eligible for it. When I offered to pay the difference Maddie told me not to worry about it which was generous. She was also our instructor and was fantastic!

Wow, I have missed the boat. After attending classes at PL for years, I decided rather than fight the crowds at their downtown location (Ingersoll) I would go to the East Village location. If you live or work around downtown you should check it out. I loved everything about it. Parking is convenient, yoga room is large, with high ceilings and a great floor with some nice give to it. The desk and retail area is also open and inviting.The Yoga 2 Express class was right on the money. The class taught by Frankie was excellent, good cues, assists and music.The biggest surprise is the locker room. It actually allows you to move around and put your stuff away without waiting or saving excuse me every 2 seconds.I just found my new favorite studio.

My fiance and I got married in Des Moines this fall and wanted to do a yoga class together to de-stress a bit the day before our wedding - the class was amazing, very relaxing and no pressure to be perfect in our poses, with hands on help from the instructor with consent! If we lived in DSM we'd be regulars here.
