It's an awesome gym. Lots of options with workout equipment. It is in a busy location (Downey Landing). That's the biggest con. I currently have another membership with a different gym. I joined 24hr during the pandemic on a month to month basis. The membership is more pricey here. It's really what you're willing to pay. I'll be staying with my current gym as it's 60% cheaper monthly and just recently opened back up.

Zumba instructor John Cruz is the best ever and missed very much. Unfortunately with the Covid issue, classes have not resumed. I called the number listed but only got a recording. Does anyone know where John is? Is he on Instagram or other way to know if he's teaching online?

The staff and manager so unprofessional, never had an issue with LA Fitness like this gym regret doing the change after speaking to the manager goes to show that the only thing they care about is to bring you in sign you up and after that screw you over after you want them to cancel your membership for a mistake that's their fault and expects you to pay full price doesn't resolve anything and in a unprofessional/ rude way hangs up on you... wow and that's a manager

They are open but are still charging $46 a month for 1 hour a day reservation gym session. There’s no pool, sauna, or steam room. Only treadmills and CrossFit area. Must wear mask and gloves. You are better off not starting a membership and work out from home.

This 24hr has a bad reputation. My buddies warned me after. Tiny; unacceptable given a high density population area. Very busy, I went in at 2:45 on a Wednesday left at 5:00. You can expect the usual bad gym etiquette on a larger scale. Given less equipment and LA vibes if you're serious about getting your workout out of the way this gym is definitely not for you. One last thing, there was visible damage to the lockers as if someone or people commonly break locks open by prying them out. Definitely do not leave any valuables in your locker! Just stay away.

Place used to be a top notch ! Now , you cant ever go without at least 2 straight bars missing from the benches and 2 machines broke!!! Step your game up Downey...will be going to Cerritos for now...you owe me gas money 24hr Downey!!!

This place is always crowded and dirty. Even if you go at 1:00am. The weights are all over the place and the machines are not maintained. It’s a busy gym at all hours! It’s definitely not like the one in Riverside!

It's a 24hr fitness and that's about it. It has everything one needs to get a workout in. I have been going early in the morning and there are quite a few people there but I wouldn't say it was crowded. The weights are typically all over and it seems kind of small for a super sport. Anyway, it gets the job done.

They No longer have towels. So stupid, we are only paying extra for the "super" because they do not have any other 24 hours near Downey. Since they are taking our money for nothing extra they should build more gyms. Honestly there is no difference between the regular membership and the super membership, the only difference is their limited gym locations.1/16/19 now they lock the cycling room. What's the point of paying extra if not all the equipment is available. I just keep getting disappointed by this gym

Very disappointed with this location. The pool has been cold for over 3 months. Everytime a complaint has been brought to the attention the staff their response is "it will be fixed tomorrow"Thats been the response for 3 months. Really, its a brand new building. Are you telling me that a lot multi-million dollar company cannot pay to have a pool heated. Calling corporate and they have no resolution either.
