The weights area is overcrowded and it lacks the number and quality of equipment (e.g., platforms, well-maintained bars) for Olympic weightlifting. They also don’t let you drop weights. Definitely a 1/5 in comparison to gyms of other universities of the same caliber.

Henry crown sports pavilion is a beautiful facility with multi-sports performing under one facility. A wonderful place to take in a tennis match or even a swimming meet. A state-of-the-art facility excellent place for athletes to train if there's ever a tournament or a match come check it out this facility is on Northwestern University campus

Free parking before 8 am and after 4 pm. The facility is a bit spread out but the equipment is top notch. The weight lifting area does get pretty busy with students at night but there’s lots of other areas you could work out at.

Went in to find out about the facility and was met by rudeness. I get that it's Northwestern but do the people who work at the membership desk, have to be so snooty and rude? Go there? Even if I had the money and the will, this place showed their true colors by the person I spoke to about membership. Not helpful and snooty, snooty, snooty...no thanks!

Extremely well-equipped gym, along with other facilities (pool, classes, etc). Best value for NU students, but probably for others too.

I only use the weight and sometimes cardio machines, but the facility is very clean and well maintained. It is problematic throughout periods in the afternoon and evening as there are a lot of students here. At peak hours, it may be impossible to bench, squat, or treadmill. If you come in non peak hours, the gym is practically empty.Showers, towels, sauna, and lockers with locks come standard. The pool is mostly available unless there are lessons or competitions going on. There is no basketball court at this gym currently as it was closed two years ago. There are also tennis and racket ball courts. But no equipment, except balls, are available for rental. There is a cafe as well, albeit overpriced in my opinion.

This gym is cleaner than anything you'll find downtown, and the membership price is affordable. The instructors are also very nice and helpful.

Great workout facilities with recently updated machines, weights, and building. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. There are towels, basketballs and other things that can be checked out at the concierge desk.Overall the facilities and locker rooms are clean and well maintained.TIP: Community members can join this gym, you DO NOT have to be a Northwestern student.
