First time ordering offline. Went to pick up bow that I bought. Saw a archery sign in back. Walked back and asked older gentleman is this where you pick up a bow. He was very rude and grouchy, said no we don't have bows back here. Walked up front for help,I finally saw a sign that said pick up. Cashier was super nice and very helpful. Guy in archery needs to be a whole lot more nicer to people. Your job is to help the public, not piss them off. Cashier young lady was awesome.

Never went into an academy sports store before. Was looking for something specific, found it bought it had a good time with it. Pets are welcome in here that's awesome because my dog goes everywhere with me. Friendly helpful staff, clean environment.

Dude who answered hunting line was pretty dry, terrible phone service attitude. Simply asked about bows and drawback testing. Surprised i cant pull back a bow before i buy.

Very large store with a lot of variety and a ton of options. Sporting goods/gear.BBQing, camping, guns, and accessories/gear. Clothing, shoes, boots and more.Pricing is average. I have found many items priced higher than those found on Amazon.If you are looking for something that is sports or outdoor related, you have a high probability of finding it here.

Short time in Indiana but have my IN ID I was able to purchase a gun and ammo in less than 50 min (yes I timed it) since I came from commiefornia and the wait there is 3 weeks the store is clean, well stocked, friendly and knowledgeable people

Love the gun and ammo pricesOnly complaint I have is they don't let anyone under 21 buy 9mm just because it's used for pistols but they let you buy a gun that shoots 9mm at 18
