Let's just say that if it was a construction company it would be called "Very Good Building & Development Co."

If I could give Dan 10 stars, I would. Dan is not only extremely knowledgable about strength training but he also does a fantastic job at engaging with clients in ways that addresses many of the cognitive and emotional barriers faced when strength training.

Haphazardly fooling around on weight machines and on pieces of cardio equipment is not training...it's exercise. Strong people do not merely exercise, they train...and usually with barbells! They plan their workouts and they track their progress. I highly recommend you contact Coach Dan Raimondi to learn how to train so you can get stronger and enjoy your life more! What will Coach Dan teach you? He'll teach you how to train with barbells in a safe and efficient manner. He'll teach you how to plan and log your training. He'll teach you how to get strong. He will push you when you need it, but he will also reign you in when you get a little over-zealous. He does all this in his clean and efficient gym either one-on-one or in a small group setting. This is simple stuff, yet so many trainers love to make things complicated. Anyone can write up an exercise routine that leaves you soaked in sweat and ready to pass out. But it takes a highly skilled professional to teach anyone, no matter what age or experience level, how to systematically become stronger, using barbells, and how to do so without getting injured. In addition to Dan being very highly educated and experienced in his field, he is very easy to get along with. He is a great guy and a humble family man. Whether you are a middle-aged dad like me, a teenager who needs to get strong for sports or an elderly person who is feeling their strength and quality of life diminish, Dan has the experience and passion to make your life better by dramatically improving your strength.Hiring a professional like Dan to guide you as you learn how to get strong is certainly more expensive than joining a big gym. However, it is truly an investment in yourself. You will become far more knowledgeable and capable and you will get stronger. When you look at the time and personal attention Coach Dan gives you, you quickly realize that you are getting quite a bargain, actually. Case in point, my health has improved so much under Coach Dan that my health and life insurance rates are now lower. So I'm experiencing a better quality of life and the training is now paying for itself! It's a win-win!

My fiance and I made a 3 hour drive up to Fargo for a session with Dan and it was well worth the drive. Dan was very thorough and easy to understand, and was especially helpful for my fiance who had very little weightlifting experience. He also sent a great follow up email after the session with notes and cues for each SS lift for both my fiance and myself. Our session lasted almost 3 hours and could've gone longer if we didn't have to leave for another was very ocommitment. Dan was open to answering all of our questions about not only the lifts but also about programming, diet, and supplements. The only recommendation I would make is that it wouldn've been nice if there was a water fountain or water cooler in the gym.

Being a coach in the field myself, it was great to be coached by someone so knowledgeable about barbell training. Not only did Dan do a great job coaching me through lifts, he also spent addintinional time talking about different programming methods. If you are at all interested in the Starting Strength Method, Raimondi Strength is your place.

Highly recommend! Raimondi Strength is phenomenal. Regardless of age or experience, anyone even vaguely considering improving their physical well being should see Dan.My wife and I had been barbell training at home using Starting Strength methodology for about a year when we decided we needed the guidance of a coach to help us continue our strength development. We came to see Dan for a one day clinic where he coached us through each of the main lifts (squat, press, deadlift and bench press) and taught us fundamental principles of programming and nutrition. This personalized one-on-one coaching and teaching was invaluable to our training. Dan is professional, articulate, and friendly. His gym is very clean, well set up and has high quality equipment.
