I love that I can access a membership through my company health insurance. It has many amenities I’ve had a hard time finding all in 1 place. Sauna, multiple bench presses, multiple dumbbell racks, multiple squat racks, multiple Olympic lift platforms, full basketball court, and pool.

They are not honoring the acceptance of Medicare fitness programs. They are listed as being a part of the program, but would not honor the program and tried to hard sell me a membership.I would think a corporate business would be more accurate with the advertisement and participation. If you advertise are you not supposed to honor it?Why would you not support a program that keeps senior citizens and the disabled healthy and active.Where is the community care and give back. You promote health and fitness for the mainstream money makers, but have no moral compass for promoting inclusion and investing in societies vulnerable, less affluent and under attended and supported population. That is no way to support total world health and fitness.Kind of felt like it was deceptive.

The heat in the women's locker room has been turned on full blast every morning until at least 5am for the past 6-8 months. Their solution is to put a fan in there. It is between 78-85 degrees in the women's locker room every morning. They have all the excuses but no fixes.

Extremely poor customer service. Once they have your banking information, they could care less from there and will make it difficult for you to simply cancel. I haven't stepped in the gym since May due to a health concern that I need surgery for. I have been patiently waiting for the 6 months to end so I can be relieved of losing money that I could use to buy food and pay bills with. But Powerhouse doesn't care. If only I could give 0/5.

Powerhouse is TOO LAZY to turn on the Sauna early morning time, so it’s always cold. It’s useless if you need it working before early work entry. Also, the salt is falling off the sauna walls and it smells disgustingly unclean. They disconnect the front desk from their main phone line so you cannot reach anyone in the morning. Their voicemail system automatically transfers you to employees who are not there, so you cannot talk to the front desk employees to tell them to TURN THE SAUNA ON YOU dishonestly LAZY FutherMuckers!

gave out a four month free summer trial and then charged me at the third month. in addition to this when i signed up with margarita, she never told me about the 200 dollar sign up fee until the end, after getting all of my card info. this is even though i was getting four months free through a promotional offer. just feels super shady.

TLDR; staff doesn’t know their own policies and will squeeze every $ out of you. Managers are never available and will never call you back. Good luck if you ever need to cancel.First of all, I’d like to say that I was a member here for about 6 years and I did enjoy working out here and using the facility. My problem and reason for the 1 start is their contract and cancellation process. Before all of the construction on 275 I used to work nearby, making the gym convenient. Eventually I changed jobs and am no longer in the area and I don’t want to drive 45min+ each way. I decided to cancel.I called and spoke to someone and they said I needed to come in. I said I couldn’t so they told me to send an email stating my desire to cancel. I did. Effective at the end of March, 2023. In April I noticed that I still got charged my monthly fee. I called in and they said that it would take 30 days for my contract to be canceled. They also transferred me to a manager, no one answered and I left a voice mail asking them to call me back. No one ever did.Next month I saw another charge, I was as in the area and went in, was told that I would need to speak with a manager, none was available but they would make a note and have someone call me. No one ever did.Again I saw another monthly charge and I went in. I was told that I would need to pay $179 to buy out my contract. I asked if I could have done that a few months ago and avoided the monthly charges I had been receiving since cancelling, I was told yes. If I had paid that upfront I would not have been continuously charged. Wow, that would have been nice to know. I asked if I could speak to a manager to see if they could refund me the months I paid instead of just paying the upfront fee. They said no one was in but they would have them call me back. No one ever did.The staff needs to be better informed on their own policy and process and managers are never available. You’ll never get them on the phone either. They basically make themselves unavailable until you give up.

I wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience with Powerhouse Gym and offer a word of caution to anyone considering signing their yearly contract.Last Sunday, my spouse and I visited Powerhouse Gym and decided to sign up for their yearly contract, which was priced at $40 per person. The staff at the gym were friendly and took the time to explain all the details to us, which we appreciated. However, just four days later, my wife learned from a coworker about a program offered through her company's insurance policy with Blue Cross Blue Shield 365. This program allowed us to receive similar benefits for a monthly cost of only $28, without the need for a contract. Excited about this discovery, my wife promptly went back to Powerhouse Gym to discuss the situation with the staff member who initially assisted us.To her credit, the staff member was understanding and agreed that it would be fair to match the $28 monthly price for our yearly contract. However, she advised my wife to speak with a senior manager (a woman with red hair) to finalize the arrangement. Unfortunately, the senior manager's response was far from satisfactory. Not only was the manager rude, but she outright denied all of my wife's offers and insisted that we either pay a total buyout fee of $280 for both of us or remain locked into the contract for the full year. This turn of events left us feeling disappointed and frustrated. It seems that Powerhouse Gym prioritizes their own financial gain over accommodating their customers and being flexible with pricing options. It's essential for newcomers to exercise caution when considering signing a contract with this gym. Be aware that they may not be willing to match competitive offers or provide reasonable alternatives, even when presented with better options. In conclusion, my intention in sharing this review is to alert others who may be considering a yearly contract with Powerhouse Gym. While the initial staff members were friendly, the experience with the senior manager was extremely unsatisfactory. Take heed and carefully evaluate all your options before committing to a contract with Powerhouse Gym.

Definitely not my favorite place to workout. It can get the job done if necessary but I tend to only come here for upper body workouts. The thing I hate the most about this gym is that the women’s locker room is always so hot and humid that it makes me feel unwell before I even start my workout, so good luck being able to breathe if you go in there in the middle of a tough workout. Also the water for the sinks is always way too hot but they’re automatic so there’s no changing that. This gym also lacks a decent amount of exercise mats, and the only foam rollers they have are the old super squishy/smooth ones that don’t really do anything. It’s the little stuff that can make or break the experience in my opinion, but hey, it’s a decent price and size.
