I love this gym & its staff & trainers. With my military background, I’ve experienced gyms all over the world. Gym’s in different countries, base gyms, etc. I love Miramont North the most. The staff care about your success as their …

I have been a member here for about a year & I really enjoy coming to this gym. I love that it has a rock climbing wall too, so I feel like I get a two for one. All of the staff has been very friendly to me. I feel like it is a safe place for me to get back in shape as I always feel welcomed.

This place is still convenient but, since Genesis bought it, it’s gone downhill. Equipment repairs are often very slow. Shower water temperature seems to have been turned down. In fact, the hot water disappeared once while I was showering (apparently a gas line malfunction). So I’m guessing maintenance has taken a back seat—way back—to corporate profits.Something gives me a rash now—fungus in the towels? Soap change? I don’t know, but it’s happened since Genesis bought the club.Genesis, I’ve been told, is a company that specializes in buying health clubs and runs them in a bare-bones fashion. A shame. Miramont was a good company. Under the Genesis ownership, not so much in IMHO.

A big shout out to Trainer Marty and the morning opening team. This gym rocks it when it comes to taking care of their members. Opening early, coffee ready and willingness to assist. You make it a great start to my morning.

Love this place. Wish the showers were closer to the lockers so you didn't have to walk past the change room entrance to get to your locker. The equipment is decent and the facility is well spaced and clean.

The fact that you have to pay $290 to leave a gym you don’t feel comfortable at because a coach made you feel that way with ignorant comments multiple times is the most absurd and corporate thing I have ever heard. I have some really great friends that coach here too and the gym itself has a lot to offer but I am very upset I can’t just leave somewhere I feel belittled

The staff here are awesome! That said, some of the equipment is pretty tired and needs updating. The spin studio is not great (bikes are very average). The staff at childcare are great! Shout out to Miss Annie!

I have been a member at CrossFit Miramont for almost a year now, and for longer before that with Coach Nate at a different location. I've heard people say that the hardest part of working out is getting in the car and going to the gym... but I can say that I'm still waiting to experience that. With CrossFit Miramont I've found myself waking up every day eager to get in the car and go to class. The workouts are challenging and fun (as Linda says, it's like Recess for adults). They are always scaled to meet our various abilities. Over the long haul, it has been an incredibly transformative experience.Coach Nate (et al.) have created a unique community of people who are a delight to get to know and work out with. I am incredibly grateful to them!

I love taking classes at North. The Yoga teachers are professional and excellent at tailoring classes for all levels. you can just get stretchy or really build your practice and push your limits. Having a solid yoga program (especially the flow classes) is a necessary part of a serious gym.
