Great gym, a bit more pricey, but far better quality than others in town.Edit: bumped my review to three stars. My wife had been taking our 2-year-old to the childcare in the gym since she started over 6 months ago - we were never made aware from the salesperson(or anyone during this time) that we would need to obtain “credits” at $2.75 each for each visit our son made. Despite dropping him off multiple times over the course of our six months, no one mentioned it until we saw written in all caps on the sign-in sheet picking him up the other day “credits must be purchased” and a “-6” to correlate to it. So we had to purchase the back-logged credits that day and more so we could take him again - it’ll come out to essentially another membership monthly. For the price being paid at the Raintree, I’d expect this to be included as other, cheaper, gyms in the area include this. At least tell us about it so we could have factored this into what we pay - it was abundantly clear we had a child as we brought him with us when signing up.

This gym is expensive (Students pay ~$45 a month and it goes up from there) but it has every amenity a gym rat could ask for: towel service, machines, free weights, classes, indoor track, pool, sauna and coffee bar complete with liquor license. It’s a little cramped, especially if it’s busy, but I don’t have one genuine complaint about Raintree. I walked in, did a tour of the facility and found it really hard to say no.

Not sure why everyone is saying it’s so expensive. This is a superb gym for the price, have you ever been to a bigger city? It’s amazing that this gym is in Fort Collins. I’ve traveled around a lot and it’s close to impossible to find a gym with such a nice steam room and clean amenities. I love that it’s open later hours and everyone that works there is nice. The yoga room is awesome too.

I've been a member at a few gyms in Fort Collins and I like this one the best. The group fitness is amazing. They have all kinds of programs for people just starting to work out all the way to people who are very fit. The layout is really great of the gym. There's a swimming pool that's pretty private and there's a small workout area for those who don't want to be in the big part of the gym. The locker rooms are great, the staff is friendly, and the kids club is fun for the little guys. I highly recommend Raintree and think you should check it out.

If you like to lift heavy this gym is awesome. There are now 5 squat racks, a dedicated area to do deadlifts, and I've rarely had to wait on equipment, even if it's extremely busy.

Don't waste your money on a family membership. My husband and I enjoy the club, but I have a problem with how inconsistently RAC enforces their no kids policy. Since she's been 13, my daughter has met two different friends at RAC regularly to swim and play basketball, and there were never any parents present at the gym when they did this. The friends met my daughter at the door and they just went in; there were no parents at the gym--and no one seemed to care (unless maybe my daughter's friend's parents know the owner or something?). But today, when I go in to pay for my daughter's friend ($10) and use my membership card for my daughter, the membership representative says they can't come in. My daughter is 14 and her friend is 15--they're both in high school. Unless I stay right by their sides while they do what they do, they can't come in. I honestly can't figure out why some kids get in and others don't. If the insurance policy dictates no kids without parents, then this should apply to everyone, shouldn't it? Other disappointing things about RAC regarding my kids: This summer, my 16 year old son tried to go with my daughter (14) and they were turned away. My son also came in for a booked appointment this last spring to learn how to use equipment and the young woman he was supposed to meet with didn't show up so he just came home. The money we pay for our kids seems to go to waste. I am forced to come to the conclusion that RAC is not kid-friendly (or at least when it comes to MY kids).

The establishment is outdated in some areas, but their renovation added modern touches. The parking lot fills with water during torrential rainfalls and creates a lake in front of the building. The basketball court is nice but the basketballs need to be replaced and filled with air. In my experience, I will be using Anytime Fitness for now on.

Great gym with the best group classes and training you can imagine. I have used a trainer for four years and I am now stronger than I was at 25 and in great shape. Invest the time, get a trainer and live again. 10 stars for the trainers.i also use the child care and this is 10 star. The kids love it and the care is incredible. The added bonus is the positive feeling they will develop about this healthy lifestyle that will stay with them.

Raintree is one of the most modern fitness clubs in Fort Collins. The club is always clean, the lockers do not require you to bring your own lock, and there is a variety of group fitness classes. It's one of the only places where you can do hot yoga, one of my favorite things. There is a cafe & bar and everyone is always friendly.
