CSW HQ is an all awesome gym. It has lots of space and is clean. This gym has state of art equipment to physically train, top notch coaching, and martial art system(s).They offer kick boxing, BJJ, Catch Wrestling, and more. The owner (Erik Paulson) is the OG of Catch Wrestling; he’s a former Shooto champion that brought Catch Wrestling to the U.S.

CSW is a great place to take care of all your martial arts needs. Sensei Erik Paulson is a legend in MMA, a great teacher, a walking encyclopedia of all combat techniques, and a nice human being with a great sense of humor.For grappling, CSW offers the best of bjj, judo and catch wrestling. Sensei Erik was one of the very first American students of Rickson Gracie and has long been a black belt under Rigan Machado. Sensei Erik frequently teaches takedowns and throws from judo and wrestling, a skillset impossible to learn at most other bjj schools. He also shares his wealth of knowledge in catching wrestling from his years of training in Shooto and fighting in Japan and other countries. I enjoy the back-to-back gi and no-gi classes every time I train here.At some point, I would like to learn kickboxing, too, and the fact that I don't have to go somewhere else just for that is a huge plus. If you have enough time and energy, CSW can meet all your martial arts demands.

CSW has been part of the community for over 15 years . Owners Erik And Tonya Pauson have created a positive environment of all ages for mixed martial arts training. The childrens class led by Trent is a fun learning experience that keeps the kids motivated in all aspects of life. The coaching staff are experienced Martial Artist from different backgrounds teaching the Combat Submission Wrestling program at the highest level. People say never meet your heroes. The owner/head coach of this gym is one of mine, and coming to his martial arts academy was one of the best decisions I ever made. Erik is a legend and icon in the world of modern martial arts training and his accolades and coaching resume speak for themselves. What is even more amazing is what a great mentor he and his wife have become to me. True, genuine, lifelong friends. I wouldn't train martial arts under anyone else.

My son started training here at 5 years old and absolutely loved it. He progressed quickly working with Coach Trent and Coach Tanya and built a strong relationship with both of them. He no longer is working out here but was able to perform two different kid tournaments. Now I train here in the adult classes and look forward to attending the jiu jitsu classes every night. If only I had more time I would attend the kickboxing and Catch wrestling classes as well. All the different options that are offered here is amazing and the coaching staff does a great job each night.

I have been at CSW for a little over a year and I can’t imagine training at any other gym. Since my first day, everyone has always been so welcoming and helpful. To train under Sensei Erik Paulson is tremendous! Every coach brings a different style and “flavor” to the gym which better’s your own arsenal of skills in martial arts. CSW brings in people from different skill levels and backgrounds and welcomes them under one roof, how awesome is that! Love the CSW family!

My two seven year old daughters have been coming here for the past three months. They absolutely love it here. They get a great workout in and learn martial arts.The staff here is amazing! Coach Tonya and Coach Trent are so patient and great with kids and adults.

This is one of the largest schools in Orange County. It has developed some of the best fighters in the world. The coaches are knowledgeable and classes are very structured.Very welcoming, but yet very disciplined in the methods of the teachings. The children classes is exceptional, in terms of they have two black belts, one male one female to teach.I’ve been a student at the school for close to 15 years and now I have enrolled my daughter. She loves it!

For over the past year, my 11 year old son started kickboxing with Coach Trent and boxing with Coach Marvin at the CSW training center. He loves it! My son has enjoyed boxing and kick boxing above any other sport he’s played. We feel like he shows more passion and heart with this sport and we are happy with all the coaches and the staff. We are there three days a week. I highly recommend CSW.
