Crunch Fitness - Garden Grove

I want to share about my experience at Crunch fitness. I love Zumba, but I love it more than ever because of Marta the best Zumba instructor there is. She is so passionate about dancing with all of us, she really engages with all of us students and makes everyone feel included. You don’t have to be a good dancer to take her class because her dances are easy to learn but you are guaranteed to have so much fun while burning calories. Marta makes fitness fun! Going to her classes is the highlight of my week.She has such a great variety of dances and great music. If you take her classes you will be hooked on going all the time!

Decent for the amount of equipment. It is however not the cleanest of gyms and they don’t have towel service.

It's a gym lol. I will say cleanliness isn't a priority to the employees. When I signed up I asked about cleaning and sanitizing equipment. They stated they clean and sanitize the equipment but also rely on the members to sanitize and keep the gym clean.... Of course we should be wiping equipment down before and after use however, cleaning the gym is not my responsibility. I have used the same elliptical for 2 weeks and no one has yet to remove the gym wrapper and tissue from inside the cup holder. I purposely used the same machine to see if they in fact clean, 2 weeks later, it's clear they don't. Other than the cleaning problem, I have no complaints really.

Pretty chill place to work out. Front desk staff aren't too friendly like other gyms like Golds I go to in the area. Some are nice but someone name Dat always seems mad and only nice to people he knows. But aside from chill place and equipment is good.

Overall good gym this location is the biggest here in California. Plenty of equipment and friendly staff. I signed our son who is going to the marines so he will have a membership for a short time only. Sign up was super easy and fast.

I have never in my life been to this place or website.. They had me signed up under someone else's card info and refused to erase my information.. THIS IS ILLEGAL and the manager is trying to enforce a balance that is NOT mine. I will be contacting an attorney to follow up how to remove my information from their system since I did not provide it.To the owner who replied Steve I appreciate you following up however I don't know how to contact you and the general manager at the location said he was the owner and gave me a 562 phone number and arrogantly said call him anytime. This is very disappointing to be treated this way so angry is an understatement for some I did not create.Apologies I did not attach the account number that they claim to be me. It is ACCOUNT #: 602026082 You GM refused to do anything claiming this was done online. It would be illegal for me to enroll online with someone else being financially responsible. I never approved of anyone representing me in any form. I am not taking advantage of anyone or anything and just wanted to be treated right. This has been a big waste of my time from phone calls to traveling to the place of business.

Nice gym with good trainer. Sean gave me walk through first day he was very precise and helpful.

One of the biggest crunch locations in OC however is the staff there for themselves or the members ? I’ve been here for about 4 months now and check-in 6 days a week, has a staff member learned my name? Bothered to look up from their phone or the computer screen to say hi to me? Sadly no. Some people go to the gym to change their lives & the experience I even get when I ask for a hydro massage bed is almost as if I’m bothering them. We all know crunch has a lot to work on cleanliness wise so I can’t touch to much into that. All locations I have been to haven’t made equipment maintenance a high priority and the caked on grime & dust prove that. The biggest thing is staff customer service or should I say just plain friendliness. If that were improved I wouldn’t mind the dirty equipment. If management looks over this review then this place shows for itself but for a member speaking from their heart & mental health become set out what you’re meant to be. A life changing place.

This is the first gym I've had a membership with ever! They have all the equipment you could need and the place is kept in good shape. It's not common to see machines down for more than a day if at all. Staff is friendly and helpful and I …
