My son joined for the summer and when I went to return the key fob I was told that we had bought it. I think that it was ridiculous that you had to buy a key fob for a 3 month membership. It's a scam

Earlier this year, I joined during a 90 days for 90 dollars promotion. Approximately a month and a half into my membership, I approached Lisa to let her know that I needed to cancel my membership because I was moving out of the area. Lisa advised that it was too soon to cancel and that I needed to wait until it was within one month of the 90 day time period. This was not true. It resulted in having to pay an extra $70 in fees. For five months we have been going back and forth with her about refunding the money. Lisa admitted to me that it was her mistake and that she would refund the money herself. We never received a check after multiple follow up calls. It is unfortunate that such a nice facility has such unprofessional employees that lack a basic understanding of the contracts they offer and show such little concern for members. The handling of this situation was completely unacceptable.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE ONLY TIME THEY LIKE YOU IS WHEN YOU ARE LOOKING TO SIGN UP. AFTER THAT IS A MESS AND A HEADACHE. LISA (THEIR MANAGER) IS IGNORANT AND RUDE AND DOESN'T KNOW WHAT "MAKING THE CUSTOMER HAPPY" MEANS. THEY CLAIM THEY WORK WITH YOU ON PAYMENT DATES, BUT THEY DO NOT HAVE RECORDED LINES SO WHEN THE DATE DOESN'T GET CHANGED, ITS NOT THEIR FAULT BECAUSE THEY DON'T REMEMBER. I WILL NEVER RE-NEW A MEMBERSHIP HERE, AND UNTIL MINE IS OVER I WILL BE GOING TO THE VALPO LOCATION. THEIR 12 MONTH CONTRACTS ALSO BILL YOU 13 MONTHS AND THEIR EXPLANATION FOR IT DOESN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE, AND THEY WILL MAKE UP SOME BULLSHIT JUST LONG ENOUGH TO PISS YOU OFF AND AGREE TO 13 MONTHS. NICOLE DID APOLOGIZE FOR THE RUDE COMMENTS/ATTITUDE PROBLEM THAT LISA HAD, AND AGREED TO TAKE A CALL FROM MY BANK TO HELP GET THE MISTAKE SHE MADE RESOLVED. SO THANK YOU LISA FOR TRYING TO TAKE OWNERSHIP IN THIS RUDE EMPLOYEES BEHAVIOR! ONE BAD APPLE CAN SPOIL THE WHOLE BUNCH.

Constantly double charging me. I only have enough money in my one account to cover monthly fees like them I can't afford to keep paying my overdraft fees and they won't let me cancel because apparently then rushing me of my money is not a reasonable problem to cancel. Don't join! crappy attitude and way over priced! Better going to planet fitness

When I moved and tried to close my membership, they made me jump through hoops and refused not to charge my account. I finally had to pay a fee for my bank to stop payment. Then some idiot on the phone threatened to send me to collections!! Great place if you like getting ripped off!!
