We were greeted right away and checked-in fast. Gym wasn't too crowded and equipment I used were clean so was the areas I was on. Music playing were nice choices but I had my own playing in my ear buds. I had used my app with tutorials for types of targeted exercises I needed, so I suggest to use the PF app

I was excited to join the gym across the street from my new house. But I was worried about having to wear a mask during an aerobic workout. So I looked it up. I looked up the Maricopa ordinance and exception Bv states masks are not required where not feasible or reasonable. Then I looked up local guidelines at GilbertAZ.gov and they state in their FAQs regarding masks that they are following Maricopa guidelines. The page goes on to state masks are NOT required while working out indoors because it is not reasonable or feasible. And when I reached out to Planet Fitness online to verify, the rep confirmed they are only required while coming and going From locations, NOT while working out. So imagine my surprise when I arrive at this location to signup and learn they DO require masks while working out. The staff advised its due to local ordinance. So I showed them the local government pages that disagree and then they said this is a franchise and the owner has decided. Which makes zero sense. Why further limit your location from acquiring customers?
