As a senior citizen and recently retired, I began to experience health and physical problems related to my age. I looked for a tai chi class nearby as a supplement to a strictly medical solution and found Body and Brain Yoga Tai Chi. It has only been 2 months but I have an increase in energy and less tiredness. Focus is better, too. My flexibility has improved as has my sense of balance. Master Kim's approach is to focus on the body, mind and chi energy aspects of the tai chi moves which makes the approach easy to jump into and clearly realize benefits. The school also has many other classes to focus on other aspects of development which I plan to explore as I, myself, develop and improve as I will. This has been an impressive start to a healthy, energized and integrated path.

I wish everyone I know would come to these classes! In 6 months I have lost 40 pounds, improved my mood, knee pain that has plagued me all my life, and have tools for continued health. Master Kim is a healer and amazing teacher, and Master Toshi an exuberant pleasure.

Ten months ago, I started classes with Master Kim. I wasn’t sure what to expect but decided to show up regularly and follow this discipline. I have experienced so many improvements to my physical, mental and spiritual health in this short time. I have more restful sleep, a calm mind, less anxiety, and a more positive outlook for the future. I feel stronger and more flexible, too. We learn so much beneficial wisdom to help ourselves live the best life possible. These classes are for everyone at any age and in what ever condition you may be in. Master Kim has a depth of knowledge in his practice and freely shares himself with all of the students. We have fun ! I am so grateful and plan to be a lifelong member.

In 2017 I was going through some tough times emotionally. I had been trying to find a therapist without much luck and my weekly yoga class lost their space. I found the Body and Brain Center on a search and made an appointment. I signed up after one session and am now halfway through my third year. I have more strength in my 60's than I had in my 40's and managing my emotions has become much much more manageable. I love Master Koko and the other teachers at the center. Wonderful people and great energy. I am very grateful for this practice in this space.

I Love training at this center. I feel energized and balanced when I’m done. I’ve been looking for somewhere to learn how to improve my health and meditate since I have such a hectic work and family schedule . They’re always so welcoming and warm. I love learning Tai Chi and of course yoga. I totally recommend this training center!
