Started training here in January of 2021 pre-expansion and to see what the ownership has done with the place is amazing. It’s a dope atmosphere with a strong community among its members. Top quality equipment, lighting, and supplements. Really nothing bad to say, just still need to try the nutrition place upstairs.

Love this gym and the vibes it gives off never felt so comfortable working out and recording myself because everyone else in this gym doing it also and not messing around at all! Alright here’s an unbiased review. Gym’s atmosphere is absolutely amazing. Really good equipment that are not common in commercial gyms. Training here has genuinely impacted me in a very positive way. Seeing bodybuilders and powerlifters training so hard is motivating. I don’t mind the 30min drive to come here every day. Shout out to AK and David, very welcoming and treat me like family. As for the constructive criticism, parking is definitely a problem at peak times. The mens restroom, one toilet for the entire facility for members. That is unacceptable given the amount of male members. There was another one but was deemed “employee only”. Stair master’s seem to be down even after being fixed, cables tend to break easily. I understand lead times for repair and things break, but i can’t excuse the make bathroom situation. Besides that i hope to see AR improve even more and I’ll continue to support but please sometimes the pre workout hits too hard and i have to go lol.

Would love to give this gym 5 stars but after having a bad experience with the personal training services, I would not recommend. I have been trying to cancel the training for weeks now yet am unable to get a response. Gym has awesome equipment and for some of the time is kept up with. Sessions consisted of trainer running me through workouts, that is it. They were hard sessions but disagree with the price if only training is provided. 24/7 only if someone is there to let you in the door, I have been here almost a year and my FOB has never worked. Parking is tough, usually around 3:30PM and after you must park in the overflow grass field next door. Does not bother me but people do not rerack their weights, clips are hard to find, and with the amount of people they could use a few more bathrooms. If you do forget your headphones though, no worries for the most part they play phenomenal workout music.7/7/22 Edit:I have contacted the gym directly and vice versa, Jerimiah and Katherine have been working to resolve my issues. Jerimiah listened and allowed me to explain my story and reasoning for why I was unhappy with the service. Katherine reached out and formally apologized for the lack of service/training that was received and is working to reconcile the charges charged against me post training cancellation. All in all, Absolute is a great gym, they just need to deliver what is promised in the training agreement and make it abundantly clear you are signing up to a contract that cannot be canceled...ahead of time.

THE best gym in the DFW. Hands down, if you ain’t at Absolute, what are you doing? The owner is extremely kind and social with all of the gym goers, all the people that work here are so kind and personable and involved in the gym culture there. You can tell that they enjoy working at Absolute. The whole environment is elite like, I seriously can not say enough. If you are ready to step your gym experience up and make the honest commitment in your life to a better you, THIS place is where you need to be.

Good community, good staff although lots of neglection with equipment. not enough dumbells for everyone either I am always having to walk across the gym to the power lifting section for weights that meet my size. Ive been told by the owner that there would be more dumbells on the way nothing has changed . as well as the equipment. not complaining just giving transparency, i shouldnt have to pay a service fee for the gym if issues arent being solved. and neglected overtime. overall a good gym but I dont like walking im to broken equipment it isnt what I paid for.

Absolute recomp is the most dishonest gym I’ve ever been a part of. The employees will tell you any and everything to lure you into joining. After paying a ridiculous >$200 sign up fee and monthly dues of 40 or more by now, 60 days in you’ll be hit with a few of $50 for an “annual fee” that you were never informed of, as well as a refusal to refund it as a disgruntled, uninformed member. Furthermore, when you try to cancel your membership - which you were initially told the sign up fee covered the first and last month of - you will have to send an email to cancel (because you cannot cancel in store) and the customer service will then tell you it’s a 30 day written notice and that you will be responsible for paying for an ADDITIONAL month that you were informed you already paid for. The employees are dishonest and management refuses to assist with concerns such as these. Customer service is also very unhelpful and passive aggressive; good luck getting any help from them either…

absolute recomp is honestly just the best gym in nrh, it has so much equipment and is such a great environment. I was terrified to come here and get a membership because I knew that it’s a whole bunch of strong people and possibly some influencers, but once I got comfortable and I knew my way around, it just got to be so fun and I look forward to coming here everyday. They always have good music playing so if your headphones are dead or you forgot them, you truly don’t have to worry about it. The people here are so supportive, staff and members, I’ve always wanted to become a personal trainer and I’ve talked to some people here about it and now I have a connection to be able to actually be one! And if I ever need a spot, the person next to me never says no and always pushes me!Plus there is a nutrition place on the second floor, a posing room, and amazing lighting everywhere. So literally this gym is an all in one and you can’t go wrong by getting a membership or just trying it out. I’m about to leave for college and I have the summer membership and I am so glad I got it because AR has boosted my confidence so much and just helped me become better in the gym so yeah, it’s a great place to workout at!!

One of the best gyms in DFW. Good equipment, good staff, good people. One gripe I do have is how busy the place can get. Waiting for a machine to open up is common, but timing your workouts based on this is not very hard.
