Anytime Fitness

U won’t ever get ahold of them. Maybe answer the phone? I left a voicemail trying to cancel my contract which ended after a year, so now I’m able to cancel and they won’t ever pick up. Gonna go through my bank now

I travel for work any use many other Anytime Fitness gyms around the country and this is by far the most broken down. Sucks too cause it’s my home gym. Cardio is same equipment from 10+ years ago. Pieces are falling off everything in this place including the rubber on the weights. Looks like who runs the gym just changed again… but that still doesn’t fix the equipment.

I love anytime fitness but the Midlothian location needs to be cleaned. Bathrooms are filthy. Theres blood on the wall thats been there for 4 days. A lot of leather padding on equipment is cracked and torn along with broken phone holders and knobs on machines. Mirrors have hand prints and smears. Is anyone cleaning?

As a temporary gym while on vacation I need to say that it was ok but not sure what is going on with AC as it was too hot in there. Honestly reduce the temperature and it might have a higher rating. That being said the equipment is old and quite clunky, I would recommend a refresh, especially Cardio equipment and some of the wire weight machines.

Whole gym has outdated and mostly broken equipment, plates scarred up and missing outer layers of rubber, terrible storage for weights so they're just scattered all over the gym, some of the machines are so loose in the joints they wobble like they're coming apart, the water point barely works, the bathroom door on the far side doesnt lock properly, and the open floor area is too compact for more than 3 people. I've seen more respectable highschool gyms than this AF...

SCAM!!!! This place will make it impossible for you to cancel your membership. You will even receive emails with confirmation numbers saying your membership is cancelled and you WILL CONTINUE TO BE CHARGED. They will tell you just to cancel …

WILL KEEP CHARGING YOU AFTER YOU CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP! You will find out this place will keep charging you and send you down a rabbit hole making it impossible to cancel your account. Stop going to the gym seeing if they will stop charging you and go to your bank and file a dispute, take your cancellation email and anything you have and writing and report this company as fraud and you will get your money back from the bank. Also leave a bad review and file a complaint on the Better Business Bureau website.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! PLEASE READ. Okay so I had canceled my membership back in September of 2021! It's 2023 and I am still fighting to cancel and get my money back , I'm constantly out of the state and country which makes it that much harder to cancel my membership. I went to the gym all the way back in 09/09/21 to cancel BOTH memberships on my account from the beginning of the year. I was told it was good , got an email saying it was canceled and later realized I was still being charged. OF COURSE they only canceled ONE of the accounts and conveniently not the one that was PAYING for them. I had to go yet again to cancel my account and was told a bunch a b.s of why I was still being charged from JACQULINE JENNINGS the general manager. I was told she was just a "sitting duck" and ultimately had no control. Over 2 months later (over a year from my first attempt) I get an email from BRIAN BARELA saying that it was yet again canceled and that the cancelation "fell through the cracks" with no effort from him to remedy the money that had been basically stolen from my account. Here we are in 2023 still being charged. ULTIMATELY I HAD TO CLOSE MY CHECKING ACCOUNT AND GET A NEW ONE JUST SO THEY WOULD STOP CHARGING ME! if you ask me this place a scam and purposly makes it difficult to cancel your membership. I would give this place -10 stars if I could , as at this point they have stolen over 700 dollars from me. ANYTIME FITNESS REFUND MY MONEY. Im starting the claim process with my bank in order to get my money back. AGAIN DO NOT USE THIS GYM YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

THEFT AND FRAUD!!!!!! This place is only here to steal your money. They continue your membership even if you cancel and have confirmation numbers. They don’t want it to look like people are leaving the gym so they will put in every last effort to continue to take from your account. Make a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well as contact corporate and let them know exactly the fraudulent and theft activities they practice at this gym!!!!

I went to ask him a simple question to see if they had a specific machine and he answered very rudely. I came during the staffing hours so I don’t know why it bothered him so much to answer my question. I won’t be recommending this gym anymore which is sad because the lady in the office is very friendly but she wasn’t there today so I asked him but I guess vacuuming the carpet was more important than talking friendly with the customers.
