Visited the gym while on a trip in California. Like the staff but the gym needed some make over and the showers very outdated. Some of the machines need repairing and it was not as busy as most gyms.

Be careful not to get scammed here have taken family here with my VIP pass on the app. As soon as we arrived Robert the manager insisted on holding our ID while we worked out and to come see him after the workout. They pressure you into signing up if they get your phone number they will also blow up your phone. I pay $30 a month they were trying to scam my family into signing up for $40 a month they lower the yearly fee but raise the monthly fee. Was trying to get my family member to join my account they insisted on him getting his own to obviously charge more. My family member ended up only getting a 3 day pass false advertising the app says 7 day pass šŸ˜‘ what is annoying about this gym is how they allow people to bring their own speakers and blast their own music usually at night which is annoying not everyone wants to listen to their music plus the one in the speakers šŸ™„ annoying how they don't have enough bars for the bench press machines you have to share them with the incline bench machines every machine should have its own bar. They also got rid of the paper towels in the bathroom and put a weak air dryer. Last time had a bloody nose and had to wait for someone to come out the smelly restrooms to get some tissue. There's no ac in the building just fans that blow warm air machines are run down and falling apart feels like planet fitness

Vanessa is the rudest employee I've ever encountered at a gym. I got a 3 day trial because I wanted to try the gym before getting a membership. Vanessa was extremely pushy and told me I was "wasting her time" when I said I wasn't ready to sign a membership. Her attitude was shocking, I'll never come back here

I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting this gym, and I must say, it was far from satisfactory. The grumpy old manager seemed to be more interested in asserting his authority than ensuring customer satisfaction.Apart from the unpleasant manager, the gym itself left much to be desired. The toilet had a lingering stench that was not only off-putting but also a clear sign of neglect in maintenance.

EVERY TIME I have come to workout at this location the personal trainers approach me or stop me in the middle of my workout to ask about ā€˜my training schedule’ and pressure me to sign up for their PT services. IT MAKES THE GYM EXPERIENCE SO UNCOMFORTABLE. They basically target everyone, especially people who may not ā€œlookā€ like theyre as fit. The Culver City location did not have this problem so whoever the manager is at this location needs to stop this soliciting

It’s been hot af for all of august. The elevator hasn’t been fixed for weeks, and even though I don’t use it I can see how this can be a problem for people who use wheelchairs. The hours are also not accurate and they close at 7 on the weekends. Workout was cut short and that’s a great way to make me irritated. I’ll give it two stars because they staff is nice and helpful. Other than that I’ll just drive further for a decent gym.

Nice place to work out very roomy and the cardio area is great. But the work out area with all the weights is not very well circulated with the a/c. It feels like a swamp.

LA Fitness promotes ā€œfree guest passā€ online but it’s all a lie. I wanted to join this location since my job offered to pay for my membership and it’s close to me but, before I signed up, I wanted to test it out first. I went in, staff gave me a tour and brought me back to their desk where they held me up for more than TWO HOURS. Staff started doing all these tests and attempting to convince me to sign up for a trainer and memberships. I kept pushing back informing them that I was not interested in any of those options and the guy (forgot his name) kept insisting so much he even brought his manager over to try to convince me. They started asking me personal questions, like where do I work, what exactly do I do and what I like and don’t like about my job. I was not there to discuss my personal life, I was there for a workout. I was starting to get irritated at this point. Well after several attempts of asking if I can use the machines before making a decision, the manager said if you leave your ID here with me I can let you use them. What did he think I was going to do? Run out with a smith machine? What was the point of holding my ID? After 2 hours I was finally able to use a machine but did not feel comfortable at all. I literally used the machine for like 3 minutes and decided that this was not the place for me. Walked back up to the desks in the entrance and asked for my ID back. What an upsetting experience, felt like I was at a dealership with pushy sellers. Definitely do not recommend.

I've been going to this club for 10 years now and the air conditioner never seems to work properly. It's on and off- especially in the summer weather it can't be good for people with heat related health issues. I've seen managers come and go and nothing seems to be done. Perhaps they need to close the gym and put a whole new air conditioning system.
