LA Fitness

This is my least favorite location and the nearest to my home. Members always hog the bars for deadlifts, or incline bench press, all I'm trying to do is bench press.....not wait three hours to maybe use one. I like the Inglewood location much better. Less crowded and respectful people there. This one seems dirty

This is a pretty spacey gym. Enough to space where one isn't cramped up on another working out as most gyms. One thing I do dislike is how members bring their phones and portable speakers into the gym and they blast their music in the floor like a ghetto gym. Its a bit annoying listening to the gym music and others and trying to listen to the music on your headphones like a respectful person. You also have people bringing luggage and equipment bags to the gym and leaving them on the floor. I have never in my life seen this before. This can be a serious safety issue. I wish the managers and staff would walk the floor of their gym to observe such nonsense. Not sure if I would return because of this.

If I could give this gym a negative star I would. First, I come about 30 mins after they open at 5am and none of the weights were picked up from the night before. They have plenty of dumbbells there but it’s hard to find them when they don't clean up the floor or have signs for people to re-rack their weights. There are plates all over the floor. The pms vets at the gym don’t wipe down the machines after they use them. There is zero common courtesy from anyone here.I mentioned to the manager about flies in the shower and he seemed like it wasn’t a big deal. Actually it’s a big freaking deal when you have flies in an area where people are showering. Stay far away from this gym if you are looking for a respectable and clean LA fitness. All around the staff and the manager could care less about the look and cleanliness of their gym but rather how their numbers are member wise.

Good place to work out. Free weights, machines, treadmills, step machines, a studio for classes, a pool and sauna. They also have a snack bar and day care for kids. Fairly clean in the locker rooms and the same in the work out area.
