Vagner Rocha Martial Arts

Can't say enough about Vagner Rocha and his dojo. My boys trained with him for over a year before us having to move away. One of the best martial arts schools you can attend. I refer all my friends his way because I know first hand the level of attention and skill they will receive. Proud to say I've known Vagner for a few years now and always treats us like we are still part of his family.

I began my journey training at Vagner Rocha Martial arts. When I signed up I weighed 210 lbs and was looking for something to get into since the gym was getting boring. I now weigh 160lbs and have learned so much. Vagner is a great instructor and now friend. 5 years later I’m confident in facing anyone. I recommend his academy to anyone, any age, regardless of your goal.

I can’t speak any more highly of Vagner and his team. My niece and nephew have been training there for many years and since day 1 we’ve all be welcome and treated like family. Aside from the fitness aspect and learning an awesome sport, most importantly they are taught to be a great competitor and are instillled with awesome values! Vagner is an amazing teacher! He is very knowledgeable, personable, has a great sense of humor and gives attention to each and every student in class. Vagner and the other instructors are also excellent with the kids program! VRMA is a great school for all ages!

I’ve been training at Vagner Rocha Martial Arts for a little over a year. I’ve now recently enrolled my son and he loves it there more than I expected. The instructors are great and the quality of instruction is top notch. Training at VRMA is unique and special in that you’re not just learning from a guy that talks about what he “used” to do. You’re learning from an active competitor that is still teaching and competing at the highest levels of jiujitsu as it evolves. There’s only a few schools in the entire state that can make that same claim.

I came to Vagner's school for 6 months not knowing what to expect. I was truly amazed. Not only it's a family friendly environment and everyone very welcoming but I seen huge improvements in my jiu jitsu. Vagner is not only a world class competitor but also an amazing instructor. He truly cares for his students, and makes sure they understand the technique being taught. Can't wait to come and train here again.

I have been training under Vagner for 10 years now and I can’t describe how much it has changed not only my life but also the lives of my children, my brother and his children as well. It’s more than just a business for Vagner but more of being added to his family while training there. I have been with him from white belt to black belt and wouldn’t have it any other way. Vagner Rocha Martial Arts Academy is an incredible place to train. Vagner himself is a great instructor and a world class competitor. I have nearly 30 years of Law Enforcement experience in the Miami area and have employed Jiu-Jitsu techniques as taught at the academy on violent criminal suspects to gain control of them. I can think of no other martial art school to recommend. I train with my sons and nephews. Great family environment!!!

Wow! Where do i start. We came from another gym and we were kinda hesitant about change ,but let me tell you we were welcomed with open arms from the whole school. The coaches are top notch lead by Vagner who is just amazing. The guy is there day in and day out teaching classes and helping the kids and adults up there game. The kids love it and trust me we have seen a major jump in there game and thats saying something if u know them all around great gym

Vagner is a world class athlete and competes professionally more than five times per year. Somehow, he finds time to be on the mat teaching virtually every class. Furthermore, he personally sees to individual athlete and team development as a trainer and manager.Though his level of activity may seem impressive, the principles exhibited by Vagner and his team are even more important. When you are thinking about where to train, or where you want your kids to train, consider the environment. VRMA has a great family and value-based training atmosphere you won't get anywhere else.
