I love this gym but lately it has been very warm inside. Please make sure the A/C unit is running correctly. It's so humid outside and it almost feels humid inside too. Please crank up your A/C. I love this gym. Good service, equipment, and people here but it's too darn warm inside. Help! I'm melting.

The gym is great, the problem is the staff! They definitely need more training and need to actually know they’re doing and saying. My sister and I had been coming here for a little over a year now and we had a family plan with our mom, but my mom canceled hers and my sister and I asked if we could still be in a family plan, just the two of us The person we spoke with was Stephanie, it was over the phone and we asked her multiple times if it was possible and if we would for sure be able to, she assured us multiple times we would be on a family plan, we went in person and also spoke with someone else (I believe his name was Damian?) and he said it was possible as well and my sister paid 60$ and it was to start up the account and they told us repeatedly that it will be a family plan. Turns out that wasn’t the case at all, my sister was paying the same amount as a you pay for an individual account, the girl didn’t do what she said she was going to do. Feels like she lied to us and my sister talked to the manager, she said it was impossible to do a family account because you have to have a parent, why are their workers lying to their clients? The manager didn’t even care about my sister canceling her membership, so the manager doesn’t care about their clients and their staff doesn’t do their jobs correctly. Ridiculous, the gym is good but for the amount you’re paying, you’re better off going to Alphaland and you’re probably going to get a better experience from their staff. My sister and I really liked this gym, but after this dreading experience from the staff really upset us. We had even recommended this gym to friends and family members.

Great gym! Always clean and has lots of benches and machines. It does get busy during peak hours (4-7p) but that’s most gyms. Overall would definitely recommend.

Beware of the $53 annual membership fee they charge you after 60 days of joining. They will not say anything about the annual fee but claim you signed the contract so it is your responsibility regardless if it was not verbally disclosed to you. The sales person who signed me up made no mention about an annual fee and she blamed not telling me because she was new. When she signed me up she told me they had a promotion for today only “no initiation fee” but that’s a lie. They just call it an “annual fee” and failed to disclose it before signing up. Looking at all the comments in the reviews this seems to be the norm. Pretty glad I decided to cancel my membership.

They are thief’s and will charge your card for other peoples membership and then come up with excuses why they can not refund the money. It has been 2 months and still waiting on a refund. It’s nothing but excuses and lies. It does not take this long to refund. This is ridiculous. I would say just don’t also the quality vs the membership you are better off at Lifetime! The employees aren’t friendly here either. This is how long Samantha left me on hold to “talk to the club manager” just to come back and tell me that I would have to call back…. OVER IT.

The facility is one of the best I have had a membership at. It’s always clean, the towels are always fresh and clean and the gym flows very well the set up makes since and even when it’s rush hour there’s enough equipment and space for you to still feel like you can work out. Nothing is ever out of order like at 24 hour fitness.

I have been a member since August 2021 and have had an incredible experience and recommend this gym frequently. The gym is extremely clean (every single time I’m there it is being cleaned constantly), the staff are the nicest people, and the equipment is top notch and always working (unlike most other gyms).I am morbidly obese and at the beginning of my health journey since becoming this size, so gyms were scary for me. The entire staff at Texans Fit makes me feel welcomed and are very supportive. Even fellow members are very kind and don’t make me feel like I stand out. I am super grateful for the staff; I think I would’ve quit already otherwise. The trainers are AWESOME. I currently train with Robe and he’s kicking my butt in the best way possible. He always has a plan tailored to my limitations and goals, and I have now lost 5% of my weight while gaining several pounds of muscle. He has a great personality and actually makes me laugh while I’m sweating buckets.Seriously, give this gym a shot and really throw yourself in there. Talk to the staff, try all the different equipment, speak with the trainers and book a 3-pack of sessions to get a feel for it. You’ll get out what you put in, and it’s been worth every penny and every drop of sweat for me.

The state-of-the-art equipment is just the tip of the iceberg so to speak! In their recovery area they’ve got cryotherapy along with a multitude of other cutting edge tech devices to help you massage, replenish & recharge after a killer workout in the massive training facility with multiple of every weight machine, cardio equipment you could ever need. My personal fave is the gigantic combine area in the back and the spin cycle studio. Highly recommend you book a tour with the amazing Evelyn and get your exclusive introductory membership rate locked in so you can start training like a Texan!
