Good luck closing that account. They require you to visit the physical location or mail in a letter. They for some reason can't verify over the phone with your information like every other company I've every dealt with. They can however verify identity over the phone enough to speak with you about account details. They use their policy to steal from customers who no longer use their services. I will never join again or recommend. Sending in my second letter tomorrow to try to get this account closed, this time it will be certified.

STAY AWAY!! Employees are extremely rude. I told an employee regarding a malfunctioning adductor machine and asked him if he could put in a maintenance request for the machine - he kept laughing and showed me how to wiggle the machine to get it to work. I asked him again to put in a maintenance request for the machine, and he just laughed and walked away. Also, I do not feel safe here - today one of the employees - Julie almost hit me with a riding sweeper machine while she was listening to her music, looking elsewhere and not paying attention to the people who are walking by. When I went and asked her to pay more attention next time, she kept arguing with me saying that she can't slow down the machine because the speed on the machine is not adjustable. She would not even admit that the whole incident was very unsafe, she could've hit me with the machine and she should have been more careful. She kept cutting me off, would not let me talk, and finally rudely told me to talk to her manager - Sabrena Lea. That is what I will do. Not to mention, wet floors with no yellow sign or cone, I almost slipped on the water today. I will be looking for a different place to work out very soon.

I can't pay for the whole year membership up front What the hell lol that doesn't even make sense when a customer wants to pay for the whole year membership up front but you don't want to take it or give them your bank account info worst system ever I heard wow. Going to a much better gym then this BS place and employees are rude about it when I ask the reason because it just doesn't make sense. Good luck PF with those rules or whatever that is.

I enjoy coming in everyday. I feel comfortable working out knowing no one is judging me. All the staff members are super kind and helpful. I would totally recommend planet fitness to anyone who wants to work out.

Friendly staff and helpful too. The trainer there once saw me strugling with a weight and offered to help me. Unfortunately they don't have a lot of weight racks or even any that are free movement, but I guess it makes sense safety wise to have only Smith machines.

Paid for a year up front. The equipment needs improvement. They need oiled and tighting. I bring my husband as a guest but he pays the price for it. It's something different every time he comes in. My third time coming in and I had a employee with a nasty attitude. The place needs improvement all the way around. I'm going to keep going till my contract is out then I'll look elsewhere.

Honestly, I like the different people use the gym, all shapes, sizes, and ages. I love that the girl who signed us up remembers us every time we come in and she's working. I love the 30 Minute Express Workout, because I can do it and then add a couple of other machines. I'm so happy we signed up.

Use the other locations.. the staff (except for one lady) are extremely rude here. First the tall older gentleman working didn’t want to let me use the hydro massage even though I have a black pass. He kept saying there weren’t any spots and I was looking at about 10 openings on the screen in front of me. I got my massage. Well then I like to enjoy tanning once in awhile so I went back to make an appt for the stand up bed. The tiny girl standing next to the older gentleman was extremely rude for absolutely no reason.. like rolling her eyes and disrespecting me when I asked questions. Told me I had to pay for the disposable protective eyewear (I’ve never heard that before and I use 3 locations) and the rude old guy walked right up to me with his arms crossed and said that’ll be 50 cents trying to back up her rudeness. She then said do I even have 50 cents and I proceeded to ask why they were being so rude. He backed up about 10 feet and said he wasn’t being rude then they both lost it and ran off. A manager that seen everything came over and apologized saying tension was high that day but that it wasn’t an excuses, etc, and gave me a free pair of protective goggles to attempt to make up for the insults. This was my first visit and I’ll never use this location again unless those two no longer work there, I’ve never been disrespected like that in my life.

I was scammed. I went into the club in June to cancel my account because I'm moving. Well a guy claiming to be the assistant manager had me sign a sheet of paper and said everything was taken care of. Well today I get a $42.00 withdrawal from my account. I called the club and they told me they have no record of me cancelling ever and all the managers are FEMALES! Apparently i was also suppose to sign on the card pad as well. I was never asked. Now you can imagine how insanely frustrated I am and they are refusing to return my money. I will never use planet fitness again and I'll be sure to share the scam story with everyone i know. I'm hoping to get in touch with the club owner. The club said they have no contacts for the corporate. Once again sketchy. Be careful people!
