My husband and I tried a groupon to learn the basics of fencing. There were students there of every age and the instructor was wonderful. It was fun and energetic. I highly recommend you give this a try. It was easy to learn and apparently there really aren’t any age barriers. When I go for a run my mind flits everywhere and sometimes that is not very calming but fencing is very focused so you leave your daily thoughts at the door.
