This was the worst gym I’ve ever been to. Blink fitness scams their members and falsely advertises a safe, and clean gym experience. Tried to cancel my membership after just a couple of days and I’m still being charged well over $100. Do not waste your money at this money hungry establishment.

Showers are disgusting. Where is the maintenance? Such poor management at this place. Be more professional. Also add some hip hop to the playlist, how does one work out to this stuff. So lame. We aren’t shopping at the mall, we’re working out.

Good range of machines. Not crowded. They clean regularly. Some machines are out of order. Sometimes it's dirty because you'll always have people who don't clean up after themselves or leave their wipes behind.I like the set up, space, and organization of the equipment. Also staff is friendly. That always helps.

This place is a circus. It smells terrible, lots of cardio machines, but whoever arranged these machines does not work out.Don’t even think about going to the free weight room. Absolutely disgusting and always full. This is the worst Blink Fitness between NY/NJ.Locker room is ALWAYS uncleaned, bathroom is terrible, and it smells bad.I skip workouts just to not go there.

So I just recently joined blink at jsq local close to the path and I have to say for small local it has a bit of everything that can get your body summer ready. The management and staff are ultra friendly the gym itself is 2 floors the first having treadmills and bikes on one side and to the other side of the room machines and a small stretch section. The 2nd floor consists of free weights few benches and cable system. It gets so crowded here and what I didn't like was the lack of ventilation which is extremely needed. As for the equipment it's ok it couldn't hurt to update things. Is the place clean the gym area and machines seem to be ok. The locker room and bathrooms could be also updated and cleaned better but overall the place is pretty cool for the money. If u get a local membership it's only like 10 a month so it's worth it. The only bad 👎 things are no strong ventilation system no parking and lack of space. Positive is the price and close to path. Let's see how it is this summer if I stay or go....stay tuned.

There aren't so many options near Journal Square nowadays, so I chose this place by default and have been going for about a year. The staff are friendly, and the space usually looks pretty clean. However, it gets crowded, with long waits for some of the machines during busier times of the day - maybe because they're absorbing customers from 24 Hour Fitness after they shut down? Also, broken machines seem to take awhile to get fixed. My main concern, however, is sanitation - I haven't seen much of anything in the way of precautions, COVID-safety-wise, and this includes during the height of Omicron. Any noticeable ventilation system or open windows are non-existent. Most of the staff have never seemed to start wearing masks or distancing at any point in the past year, and the sanitizer machines are usually broken (that's what I've been told by the staff) or empty.

i have never had a worse gym experience than i did here. i understand space is at a premium, but the layout and functionality of this facility is terrible. there is minimal equipment (except for an excess of cardio machines) - if you plan to use weights / lift this is not the gym for you. extremely overcrowded to the point that i had to leave & finish my workout at home. wish there were other gym options in the area - hopefully more will be coming with the transformation of JSQ because this place is horrendous.

Possibly the worst gym I’ve ever been to. Way too overcrowded, having to share a squat rack with 5 people and there’s never any equipment available. Workouts took twice as long as they should and I had to finish workouts in my building’s tiny little fitness room. The place also smells so bad. What really did it for me was a member yelling at me because I asked to work in a set of dumbbells with him that he was swinging curls on…what an absolute clown show this place is. I quit on the spot after that and joined a nicer gym further downtown. This place gets 2 stars only because it’s $20 a month, so I guess you get what you pay for, and the workers seemed nice.

Great experience overall at Blink Fitness! Staff was attentive and friendly-- especially DiCaprio who immediately sold me on a membership; I also had the pleasure of being trained by Tim for a free personal training session that came with the membership. Not only did he push me to my limits, but he also tailored the workout to meet my individual needs. I would highly recommend this gym if you are looking to have a nice quick workout at a clean, centrally located gym, that always has the equipment you need available (at least if you go during lunch hours like I do). :)

Depending on the time you go you will find it crowded, I go 3-5 pm and get good access to machines but, it's a pitty the weight ones never work. They clean regularly, so if you find it dirty because there is always people who don't clean up after themselves and drop the wipes anywhere. The gym is small but it has a good distribution.
