this is the easiest location for the people who live in Hudson county ( near JSQ) there was 24 hour fitness near but it is not open now and due to that a lot of people shifted to blink so it is crowded all the time.the staff is sweet and helpful, there are cheaper membership options too which covers basic stuff, there are other memberships which allows the access entry in any location.the gym is well maintained but there are few machines which are out of order, and also have to wait to use the equipment for a while, sometimes its frustrating so it is suggested to come in the afternoon or at the end of the day.enjoy working out :)

I joint Blink in Jersey City and was not very satisfied with the experience. I noticed machines are not cleaned, the surfaces of some equipment is sticky to touch. The alcohol wipe station runs out often and there were several days where in there were no wipes to wipe down the machine. The management also is not that great. For example if their equipment or facilities such as the air condition is down, they should create a distribution list and send out an email. It’s irritating to go all the way to the gym and notice things like the ac is not working and return home, if the person lives far it can be a true hastle. All in all, a lot of improvements can be made in order to better the experience.

Time for a new gym!!! ...Place has been solid for years & been a member for +5 years until straight up BARBARISM started taking place: Ppl getting mad for asking if machine is used. Ppl slamming weights while someone is walking close by. Everyone wants to fight here !! My friends noticed the same and agree that it's safer to come as a pair. We have seen all sorts of disgusting behavior and the staff are just enablers. Hatred and stress lives here. Concept of civility and polite society doesn't exist when you enter these doors.

DO NO SIGN UP FOR THIS GYM. read the comments they will charge you the equivalent of 6 months to close you account even in a pandemic. They will not close your account unless you go in person to the gym or send a certified letter which in many cases doesn't work either. Once you sign that dotted line its very difficult to cancel with out pays around $75don’t recommend this gym at all. I can’t understand why you have a huge two floor facility and literally put only 2 bench press and 2 squat racks in the whole place the most popular pieces of equipment. Most people who go are clueless about what they are even doing and sit on benches for like 15 minutes to do 3 sets

This gym opened up 2 accounts under the same number. It’s impossible to deal with these people and gym no corporate number and on capable managers. After covid I went back to the gym they opened another account instead of letting me use my old one. I tried to cancel and they told me I still have an old account after the fact they made me open another one. I went to cancel, they told me I have balance on the other account i requested to cancel both. The next day they charged my card even if it wasn’t my billing cycle. Don’t go here it’s trash small and worthy of being shut down. They are straight crooks idk how employees making minimum wage buy into this considering they are poor and understand what their gym is doing wrong.

I went today to cancel my membership and they just charged my monthly bill a couple of days ago and I got charged $75:33 to cancel. In these times where there’s a virus going on I don’t feel comfortable going there. People don’t have money some people don’t even have a job. They have the worse customer service and are very not friendly. I will not recommend this gym to anyone: the only reason I went back is because 24 hour fitness closed down. Their a bunch of thieves

I've been going to Bally's since around 2009/2010 or so (I was in 10th grade at the time). Bally's had since gone bankrupt and was bought by 24 hour in 2014-2015 until it ultimately closed up shot in Jun'20 during the pandemic and there were no real gyms around the area other than Blink, so I signed up last September. In toll, it's been a good gym for everything you need. If you're largely doing cardio, there's an array of treadmills, rowing machines, bikes etc to get what you need. If you are into lifting, they have an assortment of machines on the 2nd floor and 3rd floor and free weights. Personally, I've largely done powerlifting style work so it was nice have two 6 post power racks to do my work along with a few bumper plates for power cleans, jerks, etc.Does it have some of the frills like a separate personal training area, spin classes or olympic platforms or T-Bars? No, but generally you can do without those things. There are some downsides of course. Because the foot traffic in this busy area used to sustain between two gyms (24 hour was appreciably larger), you'll find that the gym gets rather busy during the hours of 4-9pm or so. I usually go to the gym in the AM before 10 so it's never really been a concern. Sunday afternoons are my go to because it's quiet and no one's there and you can get a good lift in.On balance, it's a perfectly cromulent gym and I get value for what I pay. Only $15. Has all the major equipment you need and aside from the random obnoxious folk here and there, most folks are very courteous and otherwise friendly. (And you're always welcome to jump in if you see me working in the rack. Just ask!)

I don't have any issue with the gym regarding the Machines, size, cleanliness etc etc.But Blink fitness has worse security. And it is very normal that your belongings get stolen here. Staff won't help you. 0 help from staff.Cameras don't function at Blink fitness. My cell phone got stolen on the top floor which I just kept beside me while. My headphones were connected and suddenly I did started receiving disturbance in my music. I did rush to the counter and asked the staff to check cameras. They didn't help. They said camera don't function at Blink fitness for a while now. Secondly, I did use "Find my phone" app. My phone started to ring.. I did ask them to lower the music. They said they can't do that because it is not controlled by them.It is common to keep cell phone and belonging near the huge balconies of the gym since they have platforms while using machine beside them. And it is common to loose your belongings... And if you do.. The staff don't even take efforts to find your stuff.I accept may be music, camera was not in there hands.. But they could have atleast helped me finding my cell phone by searching for it. Instead they ran away in the inside room.So please take care of your belongings since if you ask any one in the gym regarding the security or camera, they are worthless.

I was a happy member at Blink Gym, Journal Square location. The staff has always been courteous, respectful and easy to talk to. The gym is always clean and organized. I extended my workout routine to book private classes. I was satisfied and happy with my overall experience at Blink including the private training with Kassidy and Emily. I hope to be able to renew my membership as soon as possible.
