Always packed, don't come here you won't get any gains. They use fake wait it feels like my max is 215 on squats but I can do 260 here for some reason. The workers are very sarcastic.

All of the staff always make me feel welcome and are always so pleasant, professional, and respectful. They also work hard to keep the place clean and are always spraying and wiping things down.

Rude management, made my child upset, because he came with me and always does. He wasn't hurting anything sitting and playing a game for 20 minutes that I was going to be there. Poor encouragement to come and work out.

I was told my guest could use machines when i joined, thtn after i was told they could only use certain machines. The girl at the desk was very rude and had no people skills. I told her my guest had always used all machines and she said they cant and maybe l should cancel my membership, so i did. Dont believe what they tell you!!

They were great until they closed for COVID in March, charging me for the entire month, and they didn't notify me (found out by seeing the note on the door). Understandably, I don't blame them for closing but I didn't get a heads up at all. However, they did stop auto payments from my bank acct. for April-June sine they were closed. In July, they apparently re-opened but again, we received no notice and they drafted my acct. By now COVID is on the rise and I had no interest in returning and since there was no notice, there wasn't a heads up to cancel before the monthly draft. When I'd discovered it, I called and spoke with Brittany who informed me the gym reopened and I asked for a refund and to cancel due to COVID. She canceled for me and said I'd have call back to speak with the manager. When I called back on Monday to speak with her, she was rude, curt and tried to tell me they'd contacted all members to say they were reopening. I explained to her that I was not contacted via phone nor email and that I had to give Brittany my email address to even send the receipt of cancellation. The manager continually tried to cut me off explaining they couldn't refund the month because I didn't cancel when I didn't know to. She then refused to give me the owners name and finally apologized that I didn't get informed they were opened.

We will continue training here, however we're disappointed with the gym so far and we'll update this if anything changes. Between me and my wife, we've visited 15-20 Planet Fitness Locations over my time in the marines. The only reason I'll continue stick with this location is we have a close relative who works in the corporate office up in Hampton, and it'd be a personal insult to go to the competition and it's also right next to our new house. After a few visits, (today) I'm assuming the manager comes up and complains about "slamming weights." This gym doesn't have a trainer that does power lifting, nor a trainer that could demonstrate how to set down 325 lbs on a max bench day or 600 lbs on a max leg day in a gentle fashion. If they could demonstrate how to do as they preach, I could understand, but they can't demonstrate it. Nor can I demonstrate how to drop 325 lbs in a gentle fashion, it just doesn't happen. And worst of all, (assuming the manager) comes over today to complain about "slamming weights." It just so happen that I was doing weighted pull-ups and dips. And just so happened to be complaining about slamming a "rubber weight plate" on a rubber area of the floor. Make sense?I think the complaint is more of a discrimination complaint, more than likely because I have tattoos all over, which I've dealt with via our business back in Texas. So after speaking with my relative up in Hampton, her suggestion was to either let her have a phone conference or to wear my go-pro with only audio recording. So from now on, I'll be training with the go-pro to see if there's discrimination going on at this location. With that said, it's sad to deal with being that we've been to 15-20 planet finesses locations over the years via either mine or my wife's account, and never had this issue. Other-wise, the gym is clean, and well kept, it lacks the equipment of some of the bigger locations in the big cities, but that's expected. However, we rate it 1-star due to some of their staff members. They have a great staff on the weekends, if that's the only time you can make it to train.

I just had the yearly charge charged to my account, but didn’t realize that that’s what it was as it wasn’t explained to me very well when I had to sign TEN DIFFERENT THINGS. I have had a REALLY long day at work, I am tired, and I just called to have it explained to me. I wasn’t even complaining. I just wanted to make sure of what it was. And miss ABBY picked up the phone, and was so disgustingly rude and sarcastic, that I am extremely upset. I am so glad that next week I will be coming in to cancel my membership! Maybe customer service somewhere else will be more polite!

A very good and decent gym. I enjoyed my time there. Sadly, the biggest knock is the average looking people. I like my gyms to give me something to aspire to be. Also, beautiful women is one hell of a motivator!

Great place to workout! The Gym is clean and has a lot of different equipment. The staff is friendly and I love that I have a trainer who is focused on helping me reach my fitness goals. The hydro massage is a wonderful way to relax after a workout.

Wanted to update this:Have seen some real improvements in this gym lately. Staff has been very attentive and happy to help. Areas have been cleaner (including the tanning areas). Think they have taken some of these reviews seriously and worked to make improvements. Thank you, your customers appreciate it!Original Review: Was originally a member in Fayetteville and knew from the first time I started going to this gym instead of my home one that I was going to be disappointed. Been a couple different times that I've tanned and they've forgotten to turn the beds on (stuff happens, I know)... or that I've been working on and one particular member of the staff comes up and cleans the machine beside me, spraying me with the cleaner (we all appreciate the cleanliness but I don't wanna wear it, especially have it sprayed in my face while I'm working out)... The tanning areas are nowhere near as clean, and I had one issue with my membership- had been in Fayetteville just the day before and told them I had a new debit card and needed to update it in the system, and they said nope, you're good, but when I went in this location got treated absolutely horrible about it. Very VERY poor customer service at this location. Think the staff could spend a little less time chatting with buddies or sitting in chairs behind the counter and actually work to help out the customers. Have worked in customer service for years, I get that it's not always the most fun, but if it's not for you, a new job might be better. Really REALLY wishing I hadn't signed back up for another year here.
