Excellent gym, very welcoming! Visiting from out of town on military duty and had a great a experience!

Stopped in for an open mat drop in on Saturday and was treated very nicely. From right when I walked in the door to rolling for two hours. Great community, and very friendly I forgot my Gi at home and they let me use one of their Gi's. Very clean mats and well taken care of. Ill be Back!!

This gym has a great environment; nice people, top of the line mats, the coaches are very knowledgeable, and the owners are the best!

My entire family has been training here for almost two years now. The coaches are excellent mentors and genuinely good people. I can see myself 20 years from now training here with my kids when they come home to visit from whatever far ranging places they will inhabit. Jiu-jitsu for life! (I'll update my review in time with details of our experience here, but I just can not wait any longer to throw my 5 stars in the pool. I have not regretted enrolling my three youngsters at AZO. I have two more on the way as soon as they are big enough.)

Fantastic place! The instructors are patient and the kids have a blast learning a variety of martial arts. It's awesome seeing the kids simultaneously build confidence and community.Highly Recommended!

This is top-notch training! I always make a point to drop in whenever I'm in town visiting family. The culture at this gym is wonderful beyond words. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming. The classes are great. The instructors and other students will meet you at your level. You should probably check it out.

Love training here. Great work out and the atmosphere is fantastic. Coaches are great and work with you on what you want to accomplish. Would highly recommend this Gym to any interested in martial arts or self defense, no matter their skill level.

The instructors are some of the best teachers and coaches I've had the pleasure of working with. Everyone is incredibly nice and very enthusiastic. They have a very welcoming and patient atmosphere for beginner's (especially one's with no prior combat training). The classes are very organized and structured. The owners provide great transparency and respect for all their clientele. Overall, Aliance Martial Arts is a great place for anyone of any skill level to safely train. It has a staff and group of students that care about the growth and success to all incomers as athletes and individuals.

This gym is a great place to train at. The gym is clean organized and well kept. The instructors know thier stuff and are easy to train under. It's a great friendly atmosphere to train in. Great for a new beginner who is looking into getting into mix martial arts or someone who already has experience and wants to evolve their game. Alliance Azo also has a phenomenal kids program that caters to each age group. Honestly always enjoy training here.

I started training at AZO about a year ago, when I finished college and returned to Kalamazoo. Facilities and instruction are excellent. Huge amount of mat space, plus a raised ring and a smaller mat in the front room. Lots of equipment to work with. The gym has nice locker rooms, bathrooms, and two private showers, which are all kept very clean. The jiu-jitsu team has several upper belts who are all excellent teachers and very willing to work patiently with new people. There's also a strong community of women there, which is not the case at every gym, and it's certainly something I appreciate. Everyone is very supportive. I was a little nervous jumping into a new gym, but everyone welcomed me with open arms. I found a team that unites folks of a very wide variety of ages and skill levels; it's an environment that anyone with an interest in martial arts can feel comfortable in, while also getting a tough workout and learning a lot.
