This gym is really fun, we attended a great class to learn the basics. My 8 yr old and I had a blast, what a perfect day.

My husband and I go here on date nights. It is a great combination of fun, exercise and thrill! Especially if you want a workout that's not your typical trip to the gym. We were new to climbing and got lessons there our first visit on how to climb properly and safely.

Pretty nice gym. It's mostly focused on top roping with a bit of bouldering and has about 6 auto belays which are mostly beginner oriented. All the ropes already have figure 8's tied and gri gri's attached so you don't need to rent them or bring your own which is super nice. My only issue comes from the super inconsistent/bland setting. I'll sometimes find a v1 thats miles harder than 95% of the v2's in the gym. This has been a recurrent thing the past couple of resets and I imagine it's just one setter whos been climbing for 25 years can't differentiate between v1-v3 anymore cuz its all too easy to him. The top rope setting has also been a tad bit boring so far. I'm a pretty new climber, so I'm peaking at around 5.10a. Of all the routes i've done, most just feel like ladders with each step up in the grade forcing a more reachy move. I've literally only climbed one 5.9 there where there was something to figure out and it wasn't just about forcing a more dynamic move. It gets better once you hit the 5.10's but the 5.9's do a really poor job of including beginner versions of moves you may find in harder routes. It's all just jugs. Besides my nitpicks, its a great gym. Employees are great and everyones friendly. It's all you could want from a local gym and more

Cool gym, great route settting, friendly staff, clean/safe facilities. Can't ask for a much better place to learn how to rock climb, or for daily training.

10/10 recommend!!! We’ve been climbing here regularly for six months now, absolutely worth the one hour drive. Super friendly and informative staff, safe environment and fun routes for all skill levels. Centrally located in downtown kazoo, right next to an ice cream shop. Phil, the owner is AWESOME. Visit Climb Kzoo, this place is a gem.

Had a great time. Very knowledgeable staff. Patient with little kids. Plenty of courses and routes to keep you busy all day. It was the perfect thing on a rainy day.

unsure why they want you to pay $4.50 for a 1 minute belay/figure 8 test. sure the day pass for $16 is a decent deal but forcing someone to pay to prove they know how to climb is unnecessary.UPDATE:it takes less than 3 minutes to do a belay test. why you would need to “add it on” to day passes is ridiculous. it shouldn’t need to be added on for any reason you have staff there anyway.

First time climbing and the staff were amazing! Took us through everything, made sure we were comfortable and ensured the kids felt good going up and down.

A BSA Troop 4 FAVORITEClean facility, Great Instructors who all do an amazing job with our scouts (& leaders). Its where our scouts have done their climbing merit badges for years! The walls range from 10' - 35', they do a great job of practicing both Covid & common sense practices to keep everyone safe & having a good time.

The staff was very friendly and the place is large. There were about 6 auto belays and two small areas for bouldering. Gym is mostly top roping so you will need a partner to belay you. The grips are well loved and a little rough on the hands. Good variety of grades for all different climbing abilities.
