I’m considering staying in Kansas City after many years out west . Finding a Club is important and the club advertises 3 day pass . So I called one in Overland Park and the young gal who answered the phone basically said “ our club is so nice we only do a 1 day pass “ .I called Merriam at ward parkway . She was Awesome on the phone and in person. I liked the layout of the club and if I stay I’ll join .I ended up going to the “ Nice One “ in Overland Park and it was fine . The best part of my experience was Merriam or merril . I hope I’m close to spelling her name . I really want her to get credit for a 5 star review .Thanks young lady , you will do well .

We was really enjoying this location specially because this place have a kids space, but unfortunately my autistic child now is unwelcome and my husband decides never come back. I'm not sure what happened but I really feel unnecessary and uncomfortable someone say maybe will create a new policies just because my child was there. I known about two occurrences evolved my child but I think when have more than five kids playing in this area they need one more adult to watching the kids and avoid fights or meltdowns or whatever. So it's mean I don't will renew my subscription because if my child can't stay so my whole family can't too. About machines and weight area is a little old but everything works but have some people that I really wish know what a special price they pay to rental exclusively a machine because sometimes nobody was in the machine but you will start your workout and this people appears and said I'm using this machine. How? This is magic.Great stuff except one or another but overall is great. It was great experience but unfortunately we stop this sooner than I expected.

The worst management ever!!I signed up back in April with the manager back then(Rhonda) who told me that my account had a buddy pass for six month and I would be able to extend it for $15 a month after that. After 3 month a was told that my account doesn’t have a buddy pass and thatRhonda lied to me and that they fired her but Gabriel the new manager said that I still can bring a friend whenever I wanted . Today after almost 6 month Megan the manager at the Overland Park told me that my account doesn’t have a buddy pass and she called Gabriel who said that he knew nothin about my account!!It’s very frustrating and unprofessional

Terrible client and management relationships. I tried to cancel my membership several times since December of ‘21 . I visited this location twice and they assured me I would get a refund for the amount they continuously charged me since my request of cancellation. The staff was fired and no one added the appropriate notes to my account for this issue. which I left VM for and showed up in person for…..twice. On my third attempt, the new manager Rhonda. Ignored my explanation of the issue, printed off a copy of paper that said that this would get cancelled that day, instead of the day I requested MONTHS ago. I then confronted her saying that this wipes away everything I’ve done right. I then told her I needed this cancelled as of December and she says no one added the notes. So it’s nothing she can do.(as if this was my fault for someone else not properly trained to do their job). I requested to speak to the regional manager Marco Talarico who then tells me, that this will make him look bad, then continue to fall of the statement of no added notes to the account. I was essentially punished for reputation and the staff lack of proper training. Another staff member says this happens often. 0 out of 10, Would not recommend this as a gym home.

Great. Love the instructors in both the chair yoga and the water aerobics. The teachers know their stuff, and they are able to pass it on the the student. All the staff are cooperative and helpful. Equipment is clean and the towels are warm. Good place.

This is a great gym. It has all of the equipment a person could desire. There seems to always be multiple group classes going and the staff are friendly and happy to help. David at the front desk was very helpful today and Darcy, the club manager is quick to answer questions or help in any way.

I’ve been a member here since 2005 and have seen the club go through a lot of changes. It’s always a welcoming environment, the employees are kind and supportive, and they have great free weight and cardio areas. Overall I have been very happy with this club over the last 12 years

I had been dealing with a delicate situation for almost a year, long story store I purchased two different memberships and hadn't been credited back for the extra one. She took the time out to handle my situation, she was very personable and professional. I love her!!!

I usually attend Lee's Summit West. Since they do not have a pool, I occasionally participate in the aqua fitness classes, led by either Lucy or Arthurine, 2 good instructors.But I absolutely love chair yoga led by the wonderful Chisa! She is probably one of the best instructors I have encountered over the years. Not only is she knowledgeable, always patient in explaining poses and gently correcting your form when needed, but simply one of the nicest people who'll ever meet.

THIS PLACE IS A NIGHTMARE! Absolutely horrible. Run the other way, I would strongly suggest NOT getting a membership here.The staff lie directly to your face. They guarantee you can cancel-anytime, no cancel fees, etc. LIES. They charge you HUNDREDS of dollars just to cancel... then they follow-up with you over and over and over again continuing to send you additional bills. They harass you. They're a scam. They're fraudulent. I've literally had to block their number from their Wichita office because they won't stop calling me demanding more and more money. They called so many times, it was beginning to impact my ability to do my job.Dishonest, terribly facility, dishonest staff, filthy floors / locker room, just 100% NOT the place to go.This has become such a massive issue, I've had to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau just to get them off my back. This is the most unbelievable nightmare ever!
