My child really loves coming here. We got him involved in martial arts as a way of teaching discipline. After having gone to Lions Way for a couple of months I can say he is better behaved, kinder to others, more helpful around the house and more mindfull of himself. He enjoys class every time and I would highly recommend Lions Way to parents. I haven't tried the adult classes personally but the clientele seem to be happy with their experience from what I've seen.

Daughter learned to focus. She is proud of her progression. She feels strong. It’s like a family where the kids care about each other and celebrate their achievements.

The instructor yell my son of 5 year all the time and my son get scare what i decide to dont take him but to keep my other son on the class when the instructor saw my little one seating with the cell he start yelling. Maybe this place its good for people the its older but not for little kids. the instructor said my older son cant come ether to take clases there too.

My son was attacked by 2 bullies from his school. He managed to protect himself with the techniques he learned from Skip; the owner/Head instructor. It would have turned out for the worse if he did not know how to grapple or throw a punch. This is not only a good place for a kid to learn to protect themselves from bullies but also a good place for kids who might act like bullies to learn discipline and respect.

My son has so much fun here and made some good friends. He’s learned a lot about respect and responsibility and how to work hard. The kids that go here are really dedicated to achieving these goals too.The instructors are really great teachers and their techniques seem to help the kids catch on quickly and keep them engaged and focused.

I am a participant in the adult only class. This place is super welcoming and willing to work with anyone that walks through it's doors. It doesn't matter if you are fresh out of high school looking to stay in shape or someone like me that it's been awhile/about 60 lbs over weight. Im in my late 20's and I haven't done any grappling for about 6 years. They start you out like anyone else and work you in. Speaking as an adult that is here to drop weight on the mats this is great place to be and I don't feel like I am in the way or slowing class down. As long as you give it your all and willing to learn you will fit in. Skip , the owner, and his regulars are great people. I would highly recommend this school and teaching to anybody.
