I was denied access last night on the, that although I am a black member, since is not my home club and there is a 10 visit limit per month. When I asked the front desk, the night manager, how to switch home clubs, he told me to drive 100 miles to your original home club.I respect the owners and policies of this club, but it was still an unpleasant experience. The night manager did not offer a good solution. I did my own research and changed the home club on the official website. It wasn't difficult and the front desk should have that knowledge.

I love Planet Fitness! Just not the one here. The managers won't talk to you and the employees won't answer the phone or if they do they don't say anything and hang up. I have been to many PF locations and love them. It's the management running this one that makes me sad I ever gave them $1.Update: The email provided is not clear if this is the franchise itself or the Planet Fitness corporation. Every email response is from a different person. Please do not read the 1 star reviews and assume they have been handled. This is an illusion from Planet Fitness that they are solving issues when indeed they are not.

To all planet fitness locations 24/5 means 24 hours a day 5 days a week I literally just had the holt location Keegan to be exact tell me it’s 24/5 and I said “ oh so it’s open 24 hours today? ( on Friday )? He said no… it’s open till 9 on the weekends… yo so it’s 24/4? Cause you’ve all told me 24/5… he said no it’s 24/5 lol so I said you guys are open for 24 hours a day Monday through Thursday? He said “ yeah “ bro that’s 24 hours a day four days a week. So y’all 24/4 stop false advertising I’ve walked in on Friday with my lil time I got and tried to hit the gym and gotten kicked out after 30 mins.. cause of this 24/4 is not 24/5 😂💯 end of discussion .

God forbid you want to work out on a weekend night.Mid work out, they shut the lights off at 850pm and say "We're closed".Guess you should have disclosed your hours when I signed up as I'd have not signed up. I like working out when there is not 100+ people present but your bo clunk zone apparently don't exist. Time to change the motto to clunks zone only 🤦Equipment is ok, some of it lacks. Be it a cup holder, or faulty heart rate sensor, it's small things that add up. Locker room for men always has a urine smell, and is gross.Staff that I signed up with was nice, haven't had that experience with any other staff. My teen daughter was a guest but not eligible for the amenities. So if I wanted to relax for 10 minutes post work out, I would've had to leave my guest alone in a gym full of older men. Not cool... Starting to remember why I cancelled 5 years ago. Rather pay more for what I want, especially since I can't work out when I want to the most.

Avoid Planet Fitness (at least this location) if at all possible. I immediately cancelled my membership within the cancellation period due to a work schedule change. I completed the cancellation form and emailed the completed form to the email address provided on the document. Planet Fitness continues to bill me for the membership almost three months later. I have called their phone number and no one picks up. How can a business be run this poorly?

I been going to this gym a few times a year. For the gym equipment and members, I don't have any issues. Every winter when I take a shower in their locker rooms, the water always cold. I am not sure if it a water heater issue with their showers too many members taking shower? I didn't feel like making a issue about it, but this is the second time it happen. I did complain the first time over a year ago! Not fun during Michigan winters when it cold water! Also a hanger missing in the locker room should be fix easy cheap fix!

Planet fitness is good, a lot of their patrons are not. The employees are always friendly and helpful, but I can't count the number of times I've seen people "forgetting" to wipe down their equipment after using it. Plenty of people also tend to stand around and chat while leaning on equipment instead of working out, which inevitably makes my workout take twice as long as it should.

Miguel is awesome as your physical trainer and I appreciate his patience and teaching style in each of his classes. I've learned so much from him and gained confidence in my workouts. Thanks Miguel! I look forward to taking more classes with you! The folks at the check-in counter are always friendly, especially Krista! I'm excited to try out the new cardio machines!

Little back story to start, I’m totally new to the gym world. Never had a membership before and started at planet fitness as a stress reliever for my job as a Firefighter EMT. One of the perks I was excited for was the availability of the tanning beds (i work on an ambulance over night so I for sure need the tanning beds). I went to this location on my way to work this afternoon around 3:30/4 to use the tanning bed and get a run in before my shift. I walked in, scanned my digital membership card and walked to a bed. Little did I know I was supposed to “check in for tanning”. So here I am my second time total going to the gym, changing clothing in the tanning room when someone knock. I respond with “I’m in here” and the person behind the door replies “I know you are. You didn’t check in for the room so get out here.” I said “okay hold on”. I’m trying to put clothes on before catching a charge walking to the welcome counter in my birthday suit and he says “get out here and check in.” I go out he says something along the lines of, other gyms are different and you have to check in here you can’t just walk into a room. I head to the front to “check in” and he keeps making directive commands similar to a power trip happy crossing guard. I finally get to the computer screen to answer the questions to get a simple 7 minute tan, and the employee working that station was awesome. He wasn’t rude or emitting a superior vibe, he just did his job.To the power happy crossing guard employee, your gym is a prime location for people to start their gym experiences. None the less, you are an exceptional spot for first responders to make a quick stop for a workout before reporting to shift or when they are on their way home. You may even be a destination for them to rid themselves of the stress of the shift they just left, which is why I was there. Not only did this experience push me to want to cancel my membership, but it made me lose faith in the planet fitness “safe zone” policy. I hope whoever you were learn that you work at a gym, simple as that. Be kind and compassionate to people because you do not know what stress they have even being there in the first place.

Many familiar faces in staff and patrons. The layout flows nicely, and clean. Plenty of equipment, so I hardly have to wait.
