My boyfriend and I joined this gym less than a year ago. At first it was very nice and fit our lifestyle pretty well. There’s always been a lack of staff in the gym as we rarely see them if we’re there during the normal business hours ( we have 24 hr access and staff are only there till 10 I believe) but this was never a problem. In the past 2-3 weeks we have not been going to the gym as much due to being busy with work etc. When my boyfriend decided to go back, he noticed his pass was inactive. He then called and asked is his membership had been canceled. They said yes and that he could come in speak to the manger as to why it has been revoked. He went in the next day and after waiting half a hour to speak with someone, Zach told him he has been “allowing groups of people in and being disrespectful to staff” and walked away without allowing my boyfriend to have a conversation about these accusations which are 100% false. He responded “that’s it?” to which Zach said “yeah that’s it”. No explanation on how they identified him out of everyone in the gym as thisperson who is breaking club policies. They replied to the review he posted describing this situation saying that they gave multiple warnings about this and he failed to listen. Remember how I mentioned we rarely see staff within the club? Yeah those interactions where they gave “warnings” never happened. I hate that the staff has ruined such a nice gym for us.

Good gym but employees not so much don’t come unless you want your membership to be canceled by Zach and not get an explanation why till two weeks later. I showed up in person and ask why the account has been closed then waited 30 minutes to “speak with the manager”. He spoke to me for 30 seconds and said that’s it and then walked away without allowing us to have an actual conversation.

If you're debating whether or not to sign up, just stop and go enroll. This gym is literally the best in terms of price, equipment and overall value. My wife and I canceled our previous membership and paid cancelations fees just to start going already. And my wife hates paying for extra stuff. The staff have been really friendly, the gym is so clean and sanitized! The showers are great. The only drawback are the multiple fees you have to pay at the beginning but worth it for us for the location and the no contract. It's a great investment!---------------Year after last review. Overall still enjoy going here. Nowhere as clean as it was before. But it's convenient and affordable, so definitely worth it.

Paid a $60 annual maintenance fee (was not disclosed about at signup until after being billed and was told it was too late, "it is what it is, we do this to everyone") for a month to month contract that I cancelled after 4 months of service. I cancelled expecting to have a proration back for that maintenance fee in return as I didn't use the whole year of service, to my surprise that is nonrefundable no matter the cancellation timeframe. When speaking with Andrew the regional and inquiring on the contract signed what the verbiage is around that - there is nothing outlining in black and white about that fee, "it is what it is"- they love this line. For the business and customers protection, I would think a business would have a disclaimer like any other contract outlining all the ins and outs of a fee. I would highly recommend not having a membership here, a membership fee at any other gym includes maintenance and up keep of a facility, not an additional annual fee that is not prorated among your time spent and to not have that disclaimer in the contract is wild. The pickleball court had blood all over it for a month- yes I told the front desk, and we pay an additional facility fee?? for what?? poor service, poor contracting, bad customer service.

Gym is fine (if you don't mind machines being broken for 6+ weeks and lax cleaning), but they have shady membership practices.Short version: They messed up my account information and I had to provide it to them three times. Paid for first two months and the yearly fee, then they stopped charging me. I got a call from their Regional Texas manager, Sergio, that I needed to provide the information again. So, next time I was in, I tried when I walked in, but no one was at the front. Then he came and found me, was extremely aggressive (even after I told him I was giving them my information for the fourth time), and yelled at me on the floor of the gym. As we were walking to the front (after he interrupted me during a set, very unsafe), he told me, again aggressively, that "you WILL be paying the yearly fee again."I told them I would not be paying for their misses and walked out. That type of person gives gym-goers around the world a bad name. I have owned a gym for years and gym people are the nicest people around. But this Sergio person attempted to intimidate me, yelled at me in front of people (for their admitted miss), created a situation where I could have been injured by interrupting me mid set, and tried to embarrass me as he escorted me out.I would never allow someone who treats their customers like that. I would be ashamed if I was a senior leader at that company.

Pros: Equipment is solid, lots of space, and decent amenities.Cons: Lack of staff, or attention but the men’s room, showers and sauna are always filthy. Hasn’t improved in the few months I’ve been here. Will most likely cancel due to lack of cleanliness. Which is disappointing because the main reason I joined was because Gold’s doesn’t have a sauna.

This place is simply amazing! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the gym is spacious and affordable at just $10 a month, which is a steal considering its size and amenities. The environment is fantastic, with energy drinks, commodities, and more available. I couldn't be happier with this gym; it surpasses my previous one that charged a hefty $150 a month. This gym is a real gem! 👌

Wow best gym EVER! The staff are extremely nice and are always greeting you. The gym is always clean and you never have to wait for a machine. Telling all my friends and family about this gym!

This is a very nice new looking gym. My 15 year old son comes here and so far he loves it. The equipment is awesome and the place is huge! Everyone just kind of minds their own business and works out. You don't feel uncomfortable like someone is watching you. I used the treadmill and the stairclimber. Wow it's so nice, you can set it like as if you are walking a trail in the mountains or at the beach. Super cool!!! Other gyms have the treadmills in a big movie room. I enjoy that but this gym has a great idea for their treadmill room also. We enjoy coming here and are benefiting from the exercise.

If you work a normal job (9-5) you will never be able to go to this gym and it not be packed full and no parking. I always have to wait for strength machines or stations. Oh and the personal trainers do group classes and will close off a section of the gym in the middle of the evening when it’s the busiest. They’ve signed too many people up at this location. They do not have enough strength equipment to keep up with how many people they have. If it wasn’t so busy all the time it would be a 5 star gym. Cancelled my membership. Also they do NOT clean the equipment regularly. Don’t think I’ve ever seen one of the workers doing anything but sitting on their phones up front. Place is a glorified day care. Nothing but teens that don’t care about the place and sit on their phone while you are waiting on a machine. This gym is a joke.If you have an abnormal schedule this gym is for you. You’ll never have a problem. Oh also if you are the type of person that doesn’t get work done at the gym. You’ll love this place.
