What can I say? My 9-year-old has been a student with Power of One since she was 6 and has loved every minute of the past 3 years under their tutelage.The instructors are incredible; kind, caring, tough and learned in their craft. They make classes fun but also challenging and I’ve watched not only my own kid but so many more learn the importance of discipline, integrity, courtesy and respect.Po1 is a martial arts studio that teaches multiple fighting styles from American Kenpo to Brazilian Jiujitsu (another class my child takes - that she absolutely loves!) but also Kickboxing, weapons training, Women’s Self Defense classes, you name it!Oh! And tournaments! Not only have students here represented their studio across the world. But Po1 holds inter-dojo tourney’s every six months or so, giving all ages and belt levels the opportunity to put their skills to the test. If you could have seen the look on my kid’s face when she won gold in the BJJ portion of the tournament, it would be enough to inspire anyone to want to know what that sense of accomplishment feels like.Most of all - and it may be corny - but when you’re here: your family. My grandson has Autism and ADHD and has been attending karate classes at Power of One for a few months now. I have already noticed an increase in his level of confiidence and ability to focus. He looks foward to every lesson and leaves feeling proud and accomplished.As a teacher with 30 years experience, I recognize quality teaching when I see it. Lessons include: warm ups, whole group instruction, small group instruction, and team building activities. The student/teacher ratio is ideal at 6/1.Staff is of a very high quality. Instructors are extremely skilled professionals. They use positive reinforcement strategies to assist students in learning/ building values like perseverance and personal integrity as students learn self defense skills. Students are fully engaged in very creative lessons.It is an amazing program and I would highly recommend Power of One.

Best place for the family to be. The staff is fun friendly and experienced. The kids learn more thank just karate.

Great place to start your little ones off with martial arts, they taught my son the fundamentals and now he loves training. Grateful for them!
