CrossFit Lefthand has everything I value in a CrossFit gym.The owners are great. They are humble, welcoming, and participatory. When I first spoke with them, I noticed I wasn’t met with a tired sales pitch or the opposite, indifference and “join if you want, we don’t care” attitude which I had experienced in the past. It felt more as if I was invited to come hangout and get some help with my fitness goals if I wanted it. It was also clear that they were fostering a community, which they were very much a part of, and not just running a business where the bottom line was, well, the bottom line. The coaches, too, are unparalleled. They work hard to keep classes interesting as well as clear and informative, even in the warmups. Their class programming is well-thought-out and expertly designed to be safe, effective, and infinitely scalable. It is perfect to help any and all to achieve their health, fitness, and athletic goals and do so in a group setting with the support and encouragement from friends. They are passionate, motivating, knowledgeable, engaging, and just as proficient at giving individual guidance and corrections as are they are at group instruction. Perhaps most importantly, they are all more than capable of meeting anyone exactly where they are in their current state of fitness. There is never a problem providing individualized accommodations for any number of factors which might interfere with a prescribed movement or workout such as injury, difficulties, form-improvement or even desired extended efforts. If you have any fitness or health goals whatsoever, I’d highly recommend checking out CrossFit Lefthand as I am confident that this is the place to achieve them. I am in the best shape of my life (including military service and a lifetime of various athletics and fitness programs) and I have only been a member for less than a year. I work out alongside the owners, the coaches, as well as people as much as 10+ years younger and 30+ years older than me. We have goals ranging from general health and well-being to competition readiness and everywhere in between but at the end of the day we are all a part of one community, holding each other up and bettering ourselves.Tl;dr: The best combination of management, coaches, workouts, and camaraderie I’ve found. Lefthand embodies what is special about CrossFit, marrying community and skillfully crafted/executed training which is available to all who seek it.(P.S. they also have some alternative class options if you don’t want to jump right into CrossFit proper)(P.P.S. best student rates in town)

I love CrossFit Lefthand! Full disclosure, originally I went to just give it a try and for the proximity to my office. However, it has now been over a year and I could not have imagined finding a better community! I started off by going to the FIT classes (HIIT) which I love but was also very intrigued by CrossFit (had always felt too intimidated to try it). After some encouragement from coaches and members I gave it a try and now I'm just mad at myself for not starting sooner! The coaches have been encouraging, patient, kind and just overall amazing!
